If we come back to Williamsburg, Cochin will be FIRST on my list to visit again! The food was all fabulous- from rocket arugula salad and crab cakes to a perfect size serving of halibut cooked to perfection! We highly recommend!
Excellent cocktails and crabcake appetizer. The beef tenderloin was a tad too salty. Some mix-up in serving our dinner too soon but the charming owner rectified that. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Cochon on Second has become a “must eat at” spot for us on any visit to Williamsburg. This week we were in town for only three days, and chose to celebrate a milestone birthday at Cochon. The food and service were excellent and we will be sure to visit again the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.
Very nice experience. Marked lower for ambience because our table was right next to the kitchen and my view was limited to kitchen traffic.
We had a fixed price menu for a holiday, although a substitution for one item was welcome. Everything was well-prepared and very flavorful. The portions were generous. And watching the kitchen prepare the food was entertaining. We had no difficulty with a conversation during the meal. Top notch experience.
Father's Day Dinner was out of this world. All the food was prepared to perfection. Service was the best we've seen in a long time. Neil's staff was extremely attentive.
We had a delicious meal at Cochon last week. We shared a yummy fried oyster app. The pear martini was refreshing and not too sweet. The crabcakes were outstanding (and I'm picky about my crab cakes!). My partner got the scallops. (Since we always share, I can say they were equally delicious.) Our server, Renee, provided excellent service, and offered helpful recommendations. It was a perfect evening.
Experience was outstanding. From the complimentary champagne (for our anniversary), to the Happy Anniversary printed on the top of our menus! The food and service added to the wonderful experience. We will certainly be back.
Great food, Great service, and great music. Cochon is the best restaurant in Williamsburg.
At first Cochon seems to be an expensive restaurant. But the portions are huge and wonderfully delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. It's practically perfect!

The quality of the food and the service was outstanding. My only negative was the noise level made it difficult to fully enjoy the evening. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
Cochon is the place to eat if you want great service, and great food! It is now on our short list of places to eat.
Great place to go for a delicious meal. Love the romantic coziness and warm friendly staff. All around great place.
Waitstaff well trained. Food fresh and prepared with care.
Dinner was a special occasion—my wife's birthday. The wine and salad were both great. I had the crabcake dinner, a special for the evening. During the meal, I tasted crab shells at least 5 different times. It was very disappointing and impacted the evening for me. Also, I had indicated it was a special occasion because they asked when making the reservation, and there was no mention by any of the staff. We usually go to Cochan at least once a year personally and several times with clients. Not anymore.
