We love to eat here for breakfast anytime and any other meal is great. Wait staff is always fantastic and so is the food. It comes in a timely manner and I get to shop before or after or both

Great restaurant and the staff is professional and engaging. Gift shop has nice trinkets at surprisingly reasonable prices. Highly recommended

We went to Cracker Barrel in Williamsburg last night. It was the worse experience ever. Our server was horrible. We went through 2 glasses of tea waiting to make our order. When the food finally arrived mine was really cold. My husbands food was way over seasoned but warm at least. Our server never returned. My husband finished his meal while still waiting for our server to come back. Couldn’t even get a drink refill I had to finally ask another server if she could please find ours. Which she promptly did!!(thank you). He came out and I told him what was wrong. He brought me new potatoes only and a take out box. All the while at least 3 other tables came in after us and was seated in his section and they all got their food and was gone before we got our food. When I complained at the checkout they just said I’m sorry for your bad experience and took of the cost of our drinks of our bill.. We
rarely go out to eat anymore and when we do we would like to have our meal together. Not me watching him eat and having to take mine home and reheat it and eat by myself. Not sure I want to go back again. Which is a shame since I love your Resturant. This is not the first time we have experienced problems there before but last night was totally unacceptable!!! First time ever leaving a bad review for anywhere. Be warned people!!!

Please beware if you visit this Cracker Barrel. On a vacation with family and went for dinner and the tables were so close together it was like you were sitting with other customers. While we were dining, we started getting alerts on our phone about activity on our credit cards. Well, needless to say the person behind us
stole my daughter's wallet and proceeded to the Walmart, Publix, and Dollar Tree down the road racking up hundreds of dollars in charges. The management was told of the situation and all they did was give us the police non-emergency number on a post-it note and said we had to call the police ourselves. He said that they did not have cameras in the dining room, only in the gift shop. My daughter immediately called 911 as I stood inside to pay the bill with my grandson who was very upset. There was only 1 cashier working on this Saturday night and it seemed like
hours before we got to her. While in line the other customers could see how upset we were, and I told them about what happened. They all showed concern about our situation, even the 2 very nice women sitting beside us in the restaurant. Once I paid the bill we went outside and still no police. So, I called 911
myself and talked to a very nice dispatcher. The person that stole the wallet was making charges as I was talking to her, and she was informed of the information. We also had the banks on the phone, and they were giving us the information.

Finally, a York County policeman showed up and we gave him the information, he went inside and asked to see the cameras and they told him the same that they told us, no cameras in dining area. The York County police said we would need to wait for the James City County police to come as that is where they
were making the charges on the stolen bank cards. Well after waiting over an hour in front of the Cracker Barrel for James City police said they were not going to do anything about this.

This did not sit well with me, so I called the VA state police. They said they would look into it and call back. Well, they called back and said they would not do anything because they would not go over what James City said.

To end this long story and nightmare of our visit to this Cracker Barrel, I feel very upset about the fact that Cracker Barrel had no concern that this had happened in their crammed dining room and only gave us the non-emergency police number that he said we had to call ourselves. With going back inside the store to get warm and use the restroom, after over an hour of still waiting for the police, only the cashier showed any emotion of what had happened, we never saw the manager again after he gave us the post-it. Also, that the James City Police or the VA State police did absolutely nothing but helped the crook get away.

The instructions on my email said to pick up the items "in the store." I parked (very busy on Thanksgiving) and went in. Then I had to go back to the car, and drive it around the corner of the store to a tent where there were no parking places. We parked again and I walked to the tent where there was a sign saying to stay in the car. Oh well, I finally walked up to the tent and a very friendly associate brought me my food. The folks were all very nice and helpful, but it was very confusing.

All of the food except the gravy was excellent. Not sure what that gravy was, but we tossed it and used another turkey gravy. Will order from these good folks again for Thanksgiving.

The male waitstaff that was working there are absolutely horrible. They were rude to everyone, my waiter, Azeddine was a nightmare to deal with. He was rushing service, and it seemed to be the case for the other male waitstaff, never set the lid on the coffee pot and as he was pouring spilled hot coffee all over the table, thankfully we didn’t have children at the table with us that could have been burned. Not only did he do that to us, but another table he served coffee too did the same thing and they had children. At one point when he was taking the order of another table he decided to sit down at the table with the family to take their order. As i was watching the rest of the male waitstaff of the same culture, they all were rather rude to the customers they were serving. It was an overall bad experience there this weekend and is a shame since i enjoy going there to eat while visiting williamsburg. I really wish we had the waitress Mandy as she has always been a great person and waitress.

As always excellent, but today at the Williamsburg location, we had the best experience with our server AZ. He was amazing! I don't think I have ever had a server that was more than 100%. Thank you

Pork chops were less than 1/4” thick and overcooked. One of the two was shoe leather. The mashed potatoes were okay, not only a tablespoon of gravy. The baby carrots were not baby carrots, but they were good. The melted cheese the tater tots was not melted and we never got the ranch dip. Also the tater tots were not regular tots. They added something ((cheap cheese?) before they cooked them. The biscuit was good and real butter. The waiter tried but had too many table to cover. I see no reason to ever go back.

Never again!! I've been to this location many times and each time seems to be worst than the last. Why would the waiter need permission from a manager to fry egg whites hard instead of scrambling them soft? Wow! They still sent out a soft fried egg with the yolk (I'm allergic to the yolk). Meanwhile, I had to wait for the correctly cooked egg white while the rest of my plate got cold sitting on the table. Furthermore, I was told that they could not serve a bowl of grits but only a cup of grits. However, they gave me a bowl of grits. Utterly confused. I cannot keep going here and keep my sanity.

Parking: There's space to park when it's not packed.

This is probably the best cracker barrel I've visited. Food is awesome as it usually is, service is fast, people are actually human. They talk and are polite. Not the usual garbage walking around with a chip on their shoulder. Visit. You'll enjoy the food and ambience.
