Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

don't like new menu, overpriced, cup of pinto beans presented was not a cup size, no juice on the beans. server was OK. Lunch specials to expensive. will not return.

We ordered breakfast at 2pm. The pancakes tasted like the grill needed cleaning!! Had to use lots of syrup to cover the heavy grease and a little bit of a fishy taste! Won't oeder breakfast here after breakfast hours again.

Great variety of breakfast and luncheon meals. Wait staff was very attentive. I have waited at other times for service, but this time it was excellent. Will definitely go back. Plus, they sell my Mary Jane candies.

Took about 15 minutes to get seated. The host went on break and no one was there to greet incoming customer. Once seated the waitress did a good job taking our order and getting the food out to us quickly. I love the ability to pay with your phone at your table.

Always enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel. This visit I noticed some of the changes; like no peg game board on every table, the decor appeared changed, although I couldn’t pinpoint what looked different.

What's taking Cracker Barrel down is not the rebrand it's the food and service. Upon entering yesterday. 8/24/25 I was told I couldn't look at the store first I had to eat. Went to get sat got eye rolls when asking for a table for 4 adults and a baby. Host clearly didn't want to seat us but wanted to talk to an employee dragging his motorized scooter thru the resteraunt. This employee almost clipped my ankle twice with his scooter while I'm holding a baby. Finally got sat no one came to do drinks for 10 mins. Resteraunt looked dead not sure what server was doing. His name started with a B I believe. Ordered 4 waters and said we were ready to order but he said no. Waited 10 more mins came back for food orders and told us our waters were being worked up? Finally after 20 mins got the water. We ordered the hashbrown sheppards pie and 2 orders of country fried steak and okra. The sheppards pie is the only thing that was eaten. The country fried steak was cold inside and my husband received 7 pieces of the upcharged okra. Never saw the waiter or a manager to try to get a different meal. The brown sugar latte we ordered was terrible. Waiter said something about manager trying to fix the machine. When we finally got it, it had some see thru grey liquid under the brown part when the picture clearly showed milk was supposed to be there.... Stired it up and took 1 sip and threw it away. That at least the server comped. Very disappointing experience and imo waste of 50 dollars I could have used at Golden corral next door if I wanted subpar food.

I went there. I looked in the window. Half the restaurant with empty. I walked in the front door and the guy said it was a 25 to 35 minute wait. I said what do you mean there's no one in here. He said that's the way it is

Haven't been in years, decided to stop in for a late breakfast. Food was not what it use to be. Food was okay, not bad, but not great. The restaurant was understaffed like everywhere. Our server was great and very attentive.
