I’ve never had a bad Cracker Barrel experience until this one. The host was unprofessional and using the excuse of training for poor service. My wife had said that the women’s restroom was absolutely disgusting… toilet paper all over the floor and every door lock was damaged on the stalls and nothing looked like it had been wiped down in awhile. We had our little one with us and we were shoved at a table crowded by three other big tables filled with people. The waiter just stood and stared at us struggle to sit down with our child and his stroller. Mind you it was not busy at all, there was plenty of room! When it came time to order we would ask about certain things like no eggs but an extra side of bacon (we knew they would charge us for the side which was fine, we just didn’t want the eggs) instead of hearing us he just argued with us that we could not order that. He just seemed annoyed about us ordering, like we were wasting his time. When the food came out, it just looked thrown on the plate and tossed out the door. Cracker Barrel pancakes were always a highlight but whatever they brought out was not that. Overall, we wished that we had just stayed home because we could have made a better meal there instead of wasting our money here.

Overall it was a decent experience. The place was not nearly as packed and our waitress was a little absent considering the dirth of customers in there. There was a special advertisement of 2 kids eat free with one adult entree but when we told them we were taking advantage of it for our 4 kids they told us it was limited to 2 kids per table. I showed them the terms which said two per "check", they relented but at checkout I still ended up getting charged for one of the kids.

We love to go to the Barrel for our comfort food and loved the food as always. Our server though was a little disapointing - almost seemed like we were an inconvenience. They also didn't pay attention to little details such as a request for lemon in one members drink.I know it seems petty but its the small details that make an exceptional server - which we have come to expect from this establishment - versus a server just going through the motions.

They keep messing up the roast beef dinner. It is tough as hell. They used to be able to cook it right. This is the third time it has been this bad. I am done with there wishy washy cooking.

We had a group of men and I think they did a great job. The food was very consistent and the service was very good considering how busy they became. It was a Saturday morning.

Food was ok but my husband didn't get part of his meal. Had to ask another waiter for the biscuits and cornbread. Only got biscuits. Also never got refills and took almost over 5 mins to get a paper towel to wipe up drink my kid spilled. Not good service and will not recommend. Seemed everyone around us were getting served first too even tho we were there longer.

It was busy when we visited. Our chairs were so close to the ones behind us that I was afraid to get up. We did touch chairs at least twice. The service was slow but the order was accurateand the food was good.

Normally, the staff isn't as friendly, but today Bakari made up for all the bad times. I was having a rough morning and took my kids here to eat lunch, and our server Bakari was outstanding. He went above and beyond and continued to call my son by name each time he came to our table. The food was awesome!
