This review is only regarding our interaction with I believe ,one of the owners, during the recent 2nd Sunday event. My family & I visit this restaurant regularly, we have taken many family members to eat here & recommended the restaurant to many friends. Every single visit has been great! However, when asking the gentleman at the 2nd Sunday booth if he had any items available without dairy products today, his response in the most arrogant condescending manner, "we make real pastries here." Keep in mind! We only asked bc I know they have bread options available. We have eaten at your establishment more than a dozen times. Please remember to be kind. My family & I kindly said thank you & moved on. We all have bad days & maybe this was yours.

I came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it! The meal was great, the pastries were phenomenal, snd the staff was very pleasant. There were a couple vegetarian options and our server was willing to help me navigate which items could be made vegetarian.
The decor is unique and it was fun to look around the restaurant and soak up all the detail put into it. Although I sat inside, there were a few outdoor seating options available.
I will definitely be going back for another visit when I’m in Williamsburg, VA!

We had a fantastic time eating here. Staff is so kind and the food is amazing. We’d be here daily if we lived in the area. Fresh baked pastries, delicious poutine, the best coffee and a charming, engaging environment to go with it!
Kid-friendliness: It is very fun for kids as they take in the scenery + enjoy adorable mugs for your drinks. Some of their pastries are named after fun Harry Potter themes.

What a lovely cafe! I can say that I'm jealous that this was not open when I was a William and Mary student. The vibes are immaculate, with eclectic decor (hope you like bunnies!), and comfy couches. The food was delicious, and the drinks generous. Logan was a fun and polite server, and actually gave us time to enjoy our food. I will probably make this a regular stop when I visit the 'Burg.

Ms. Michelle is super friendly and very welcoming! The food! OH!!! We started with the most delicious pastries. The Mom tart filled with chocolate and the bear claw with cream cheese and strawberry… to die for! Topped it off with a chocolate raspberry expresso.DELICIOUS!! We barely had room for the chicken & waffles made with southern style creamed chicken and a ham frittata. Can’t say enough about the quality of service, food or atmosphere. Great place to sit have a coffee or a meal but don’t forget the pastries!!!
