I have had a really positive experience here with the bakery but my girlfriend went to eat here with her family and said it was not good. She noted that the food was old, especially the avocado which was brown.I really want to support this place, but after reading most of the reviews criticizing the place and the owners rude responses I don't feel the same need to.Go here at your own discretion as it seems to be more hit or miss.

Aesthetic is there, quality of food is present, and the service is simple and pleasing. I enjoyed coming here for a relaxing eat.
Whimsical, charming, offbeat — as if Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Cheshire Cat got together to start up a cafe. Large selection of freshly-baked croissants, quiches, and other pastries complement a broad selection of coffee and bar beverages. Owners and staff are extremely friendly, making everyone feel like a regular. Comfy seating all around; each corner from the sunlit upstairs to the humorous restroom has plenty of character. Come for a relaxing visit.

Very eclectic, but comfortable coffee shop/eatery very close to W&M. Baked goods ? are off the charts and lots of delicious ? coffees ☕️ to choose from. My better half and I both ordered "skillets" which came in cast iron pans...YUM!? My Truffle Poutine was cheesy ? and tater tot wonderful! The crusty pan cheese.... ? And the wife's Ham and Cheese Frittata was just as good! Will be back for more of their baked goods & coffee! Check ✔️ them out next time you're Jones'n for a great breakfast!

The server was so nice and friendly. I didn't mind being sat next to the kitchen but it was weird to hear the chef complain and swear a lot (which, yes, I know is natural but this was an open kitchen). The table was also very unstable. The English Breakfast was great, I just wish the sausage was an actual link and not a patty.

On the left is the culture bowl I ordered, picture taken immediately after opening. On the right is a photo from another customer 9 months ago. Paid $20 for burnt garbage.

This place was so good!! ?We're vegans that eat ethically sourced eggs, so this place was a great find. We ordered the tofu bowl, I don't think it's even on the menu but if you ask it's likely available ? it had marinated tofu, rice, veggies and it was delicious and filling. The staff is super friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
I wish I could give 6 stars.Atmosphere? Eclectic, artsy, amazing. Such a fun and incredible vibe.Service? Amazing. Our server Ali was incredibly sweet, attentive, and helpful. I asked for an off menu coffee and she was kind enough to talk to the batista and they made it, which tasted divinely incredible by the way. I'm very thankful for the staff here, everyone was so pleasant and positive.Food? So good. I got the hummus and avocado toast and it tasted so good.Overall, I highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch.

This is my favorite place to go in williamsburg. The staff is amazing and the food is spectacular. The cheese curds will make your tastebuds sing. And the decor is stunning.
Service was friendly! But, the food was not flavorful, overpriced and the floors were very dirty. Also we were given plates that were dirty, not cleaned. I’m pretty sure my chicken and waffles were topped with canned chicken and veggies.. way overpriced for not good tasting food. I’m sorry but this place is not it ?

Our first restaurant choice had a huge wait so we decided to try culture cafe. I knew it wouldn’t be great because there was no wait and I was right. I went with my husband and two children. The burger was really dry and just nothing special. The real disappointment was the below average service and a dry nothing special burger for $16. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this restaurant as I’m sure there are other better choices close by.
