Cafe style food. Grab a drink, chips or dessert and order your main. This is not a restaurant and you are not waited on. And that's fine. Wife loved her brie sandwich. I was not impressed with the bbq chicken. Sides were okay. Lemon pie was good. Good place for a quick bit with great views if your in jamestown during lunch. Just have to pay tourist prices.

It's the only place on the island for lunch. Well stocked and reasonably priced. Great place for a break.

Not your standard lunch fare. Fresh food choices, nothing heavy. Great vegetation options. Friendly staff.

Got lunch during Jamestown visit. You need a Jamestown ticket to access the site. The outside seating area has great river vestas if the weather allows. You pay the cost for convenience. They did have meal options with bottled drinks and chips. The baked goods were the highlight. They had a couple of sandwich options. If you want a small lunch or a bakery snack it will do fine, but be wary if you come after the lunch rush or want more variety.

I happened to stop into the cafe shortly before they were closing and just had me a hard cider which I enjoyed outdoors in front of the James River. It is a cute place to stop and get something to munch on while your visiting Jamestown. They have quick snacks and some nice sammies & real food to eat if your hungry. My friend got the minestrone soup which she said was very good. There is a patio that you can sit outside & enjoy your food or snacks on a good day. I also took note of the local items they happened to carry like the fudge and the honey. The staff was also nice & helpful. A solid place to visit in the Jamestown area when your in need of a quick bite or drink.

This is a cute little cafe for a quick snack while visiting Jamestowne. I can't say anything about the homemade peanut butter cookies that will do them justice. They melt in your mouth. The staff is super friendly too. The cafe is very clean and overlooks the river.

After spending two weeks stopping in at quick places to eat doing museums - Dale House Cafe was a hidden gem! We ordered a spring wrap and a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Both were excellent! And, the most inexpensive and satisfying museum meal we had on our trip! I liked that they had options for your side with your sandwich and you were not just stuck with potato chips! As a vegan, it was nice to see a vegan option on the menu and it was so tasty I took a picture of the menu so I could try to recreate it at home! If you are stopping at the museums at Jamestown - give this place a try!

We had lunch at the Dale House this afternoon and it was delicious. I had the Brie sandwich and sweet potato kale soup and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. The seating by the water was beautiful.

Magnolia @ Dale House has a great assortment of meals, although I almost always get the Brie Melt or the Michael (a sandwich of ham and turkey) or the Greek salad or the special of the day. Recently they've started featuring a local baker's macarons, which are excellent. So are the ice cream sandwiches. If you haven't visited Historic Jamestowne in a while, come hungry! They're inside the National Park so you will need to pay the admission fee or bring your annual pass.

Locally managed, better than th average park fare. Cold drinks, salads, interesting sandwiches and snacks. Great outdoor seating on the river.

Got the Brie Melt sandwich, which is turkey, Brie, sliced apples and cranberry Mayo on cinnamon swirl bread. Added my Apple cranberry slaw to the sandwich and WOW! Definitely a stellar sandwich. Add the Slaw and you elevate a good sandwich to spectacular. Dessert was a massive Fat Banana ice cream sandwich. This was a great meal from.......a museum cafe?! Go figure. 10 out of 10.

Nice waterfront deli in Jamestown Hitoric National Park but a bit pricey. Food was good.

An Absolute must for lunch while visiting the James Town Settlement. They have Homemade soups, change daily and the best grilled melt sandwiches. There is nice setting by the water, what a very nice place. Yes, I recommend.

The service was great and the Brie melt was absolutely delicious!!!

The food was limited and not that great. This could have been due to COVID-19. Thank goodness we had nice weather because we ordered and sat outside. Sitting along the river was very pleasant.
