I was insanely disappointed. I was so excited to support this Latin business but I ordered the fajitas and it was covered with oil on the bottom, burned, and the peppers on top were uncooked. My husband ordered shrimp and rice and was not impressed at all. He’s Ecuadorian and didn’t like it. My friend got the chicken and said it was flavorless and dry.

This was a favorite years ago the food is good. But it is really run down and dingy. Booths are all ripped and the fried food smell is over powering. Unfortunate since it is one of the few non- Mexican latin restaurants in the area.

The food was not really what I expected, the table was a little dirty and after they served us the food the employees disappeared and when it was time to pay I had to call several times because there was no one to assist us.

If it could be given zero star I would but there is no option I have to give it one. The food is terrible, the chicken was damaged, the fish too, I definitely do not recommend it, the food is very bad and the place is very dirty, the truth is we stayed to eat there because we thought they had the Latin flavor, but it does not represent us as Latin! Awful!

Stopped here after exploring Jamestown Settlement before heading back to Virginia Beach.
-Food: Food was at best ok. Food lacked flavor, steak was overcoocked, and chips were stale. I have had much better Peruvian food from other establishments.
-Service: Service was good. We were greeted and served. Nothing extraordinary.
-Atmosphere: While the main dining area was acceptable by reasonable cleaning standards, the bathroom could use some maintenance and cleaning.
Bottom line: Save your money and go elsewhere.

Ok food, good service. Do not order the rotisserie chicken, it says Perubian but it is not. Dried up old pieces of chicken.

I hadn’t been here in a few years and WOW!! It threw me for a loop. El Sabrason is one of the few restaurants in Williamsburg that offers pupusas the last time I had them they were small and dry…THIS TIME however!!! They got slightly bigger and greasier and if you know anything about pupusas you know the greasier the better. I don’t know if they changed cooks or what but I have been going there more often because their pupusas are so good and their food is amazing. I just tried their pineapple, chicken sandwich today and I know it sounds weird but it tasted amazing!! And the sandwich was really big! I split mine with my husband and kid.
