Service was good. Sorry to say, the worst grits I’ve ever tried. Soda order was weird tasting, soapy.
The eggs, sausage gravy, omelette lay good.

Perfect mom and pop style breakfast. Food was amazing. Portion sizes are huge. Quiet family breakfast because everyone was stuffing their faces with delicious breakfast food tasting like it came out of grandmas kitchen. Server was polite informative and friendly.

Near the end of our recent vacation trip to Williamsburg, we stopped at the Five Forks Cafe for a late breakfast. We had never been there before, even though we have often vacationed in the area, so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and very plentiful! As you can see, 1 pancake (this picture is a banana pecan pancake my daughter ordered) is plenty for most people. My wife and I both had 3 egg omelets that were delicious. My son had the big breakfast, and it lived up to its name. Pricewise, it is pretty comparable to IHOP, but the quality is definitely better. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is what I remember from diners and similar places growing up, kind of retro in a way but real, if that makes any sense. I would recommend, but bring your appetite!

I waited kind of a long time awkwardly to get a table which was awkward. The food was about as ok as you would expect. The food that was good was perfectly fine but not blow your mind stellar, but the hash browns actually tasted like the griddle burn. I've gone to a lot of diners and purchase hash browns pretty much every time I get breakfast. I have never had them taste like that, even at the dirtiest looking waffle house I've gone to. So under what circumstance would the food even get that taste? The waitress I got was incredibly nice, I felt welcome by her at least, and the other waitress while I didn't speak to her, she seemed a-ok to me. It's pleasant and cozy enough in there, so I can see why people might like it, but ambience isn't enough for me. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back if I'm being honest.

This place is a reminder of how good breakfast used to be. No fancy bells and whistles, just great down home cooking and friendly service.

IT WAS burnt found hairs and made me sick.DO NOT TRY! And I was shaking nonstop felt like I was going to be sick. waiting for my food was a 1 hour and 30 minutes I had it and felt it felt off, I eat more and looked to the side and saw 3 hairs, and the men that were cooking didn't wear nets for their beards. It was very dirty and was cold.
