My partner and I ate lunch today at Food for Thought. We were seated and our waiter Eric came over and spoke with us and told us about the specials of the day. He took our drink order and told us to take our time to look over the menu. When he returned with our drinks he had their homemade cheese rolls and sweet potato cornbread. We ordered fried ravioli for our appetizer. It came out quickly and was piping hot. It had homemade marinara sauce that was nicely seasoned. My partner got the Family reunion which was a portion of the meatloaf and a portion of roast beef. He ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and creamed spinach as his sides. I tasted both of his portions on the plate and they were absolutely delicious. The portions he received were extremely generous. I ordered one of the specials, fried oysters with loaded mash potatoes and cole slaw. The oysters were extremely fresh and fried to perfection. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. The loaded mash potatoes were spot on with cheese, bacon, and sour cream. Now for dessert they had homemade key lime pie with a chocolate crust. Oh my it was out of this world delicious! Ianya one of the managers came over and asked us how we enjoyed our meal. We told her we loved it. She took my leftovers and put it in a take away box for me and my partner. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! I totally recommend this restaurant.

This place had some GREAT food. I had the fried fish. Big 'ole slab of fish, I swapped the sides out for grits (they were good as well). The boy had grilled cheese with bacon, which was stuffed with bacon, and the girlfriend had the Nutty chicken and mac & cheese. She said both were fabulous. Loved the quirky atmosphere all about starting conversations and learning. The entire menu is interestingly verbose with quotes and themed descriptions. The table even has some conversation starter cards and knowledge starters. Neat place!

We went for birthday dinner while visiting Williamsburg. Couldn't get seating right away so we sat at bar. We meet some nice people. Food was great. Drinks were excellent. They had a vegan meatloaf that was very good.

We had Izzy serve us tonight. She was great! They are really good at making sure you know what is in each dish. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Also plenty of gluten-free. Service is quick so not a leisurely dinner, but not too fast either.

My favorite restaurant in Williamsburg! Every time I have a chance to visit the area, I always go here. In my opinion it is a best restaurant around the area! Lots of good quality food options to pick from. Service is nice and same applies to the atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing! The food was beyond our expectations for flavor and freshness. Our server was great. It was our first time and he gave a great run down of the menu and recommendations. It was super busy but only had to wait 30 minutes. We ordered the Nutty Chicken, I don't eat raw fish, and Pepper Encrusted Tuna Steak.

This place never disappoints! The food is always delicious and the menu offers something for everyones taste. The staff is supper friendly which makes your dinning experience all the more enjoyable. P.S, when in season try the fried oysters, their dipping sauces are over the top!

I was so impressed by the wonderful atmosphere and decor; it truly set a delightful mood. The staff and service were absolutely exceptional throughout my visit. I found the food to be wonderfully diverse and utterly delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted even better. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic dining experience.
