This place is REAL, not your mainstream watered down same sauce. Sicilian family run, it shows their pride in food. Service (son of the owner) was excellent. We shall return, grazie mille!

È eccezionale!
FRANCESCO'S IS AMAZING!
When we pulled up, I was thrown off a bit because it says pizzeria on the sign. I dislike pizza & was looking for more of an upscale dining experience.
I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!
The location felt like being in Nonna's kitchen. So much care and attention went into the preparation of the food & service.
I started with the mussels & they were so good that we ordered a 2nd. We had the chicken marsala, sogno cremosa, pasta cabanaro
& 1 other dish I cannot recall.
There is picture of the dessert tray, but we ordered the carrot cake & a lemon raspberry cake not seen (they also dont show the cannolis on the tray). They both were great....BUT THAT LEMON RASPBERRY CAKE WAS DEVINE!

We live five minutes away and didn’t know this place existed until I saw it mentioned somewhere as a “hidden gem.” It is both a gem and hidden — in your average strip mall — but don’t let that deter you. The food is good, really good. Fresh ingredients, classic preparations. The osso buco is tender and flavorful. Pizza is good, salads are good, ravioli dishes are especially good. The sauces are delicious. Service is earnestly attentive. The ambiance is Italian cozy. It’s a great spot for lunch or dinner, and we’re glad we found it.

This restaurant is a great example of authentic Sicilian cuisine! Not a good place if you have high cholesterol.

Exactly the type of space you expect to get authentic Italian that is intimate, friendly, and delicious. Exceeded expectations, the Oso Bucco was perfection, the house Pinot Noir was smooth, and I will be back.....frequently.

We came to town for a couple of days for a friend's mother's funeral, but we found a joy in a meal we haven't experienced in quite a while. The food was exceptional from the pasta being salted, to the sauce made with love. I highly recommend this place for your next meal. The service was excellent as well. Thank you.

My gf and I are trying the local Italian restaurants in the area. I was stationed in La Maddalena,Italy from 1999-2001 and I loved my Italian food. Toasted ravioli is my favorite appetizer from St. Louis so we had to try the fried ravioli. It's not STL but gets a 6/10. We will be coming back here again. Expect to pay a little if you have a bottle of wine, appetizer, dinner and dessert. This place gets a 9/10 for food, service and atmosphere.

What can I say? Where do I start? This place is off the hook! My Wife and I (from Lynchburg) and my Brother-in-Law (from Mississippi) went there on Thursday, June 12, to get a meal. Was kinda late, and got the feeling they were getting close to closing. They still treated us as if we were there at 7:00! By the time we were served, we were the sole occupants. Still, we were never rushed or given sub-par service of any kind. The food was prepared to perfection. I got the Veal Parmesan, and it was so delicious, could have eaten another serving! My Wife and B-I-L were equally satisfied. The Owner, and his son Vinny were also wonderful, made us feel welcome. The decor is equally impressive, with large collection of wines and wine bottles. Size and decor invoke images of a small Italian restaurant! I highly recommend! As for us, this WILL be a regular spot for future Williamsburg trips! Thank Guys for a wonderful and memorable meal! Amazing!!! You guys ROCK!

Truly, one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. Our waiter, Enes, was extremely knowledgeable and as passionate about the food as the chef who carefully prepared it. Everything was beautiful from the cozy interior to the plating. The portions we received were generous and filled the plate. You are likely to have leftovers to bring home. On a scale from one to 10 this spot is 100. PS. Save room for dessert.
Treat yourself to Authentic, Quality Italian Cooking, just like mama used to make! Francesco's is the real deal. Homemade Pasta, fresh Herbs, Riccotta, Tender Veal, Roasted Garlic, you won't be disappointed! Francesco, Vinny, and the entire staff will treat you like familia! You'll leave satiated and going back to explore more!

This was such a cute little restaurant!! My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary; it was a great choice! The Francesco's has a very romantic atmosphere. The decor and lighting were great, it had a true Italian vibe. The food itself was also extremely tasty. We went right before dinnertime, so we were able to dine alone. It is a smaller restaurant, so I imagine the seating is tight during the height of dinner.
