Nice size bar with a pleasant staff. Not the cleanest of places, but for a college bar it was more than adequate. Nice blend of locals and visitors and healthy pours on mixed drinks.

Have visited the Green Leafe pretty much every year since 2014 on our travels from from the UK. Our experience this year was way above average, completely owed to the friendliness of the barman named Jimmy. He took care of us very attentively. We hope to see him again during our next visit to Williamsburg!

Connor was super nice and friendly the whole time even while they were busy which was surprising. Definitely a friendly place to go that gets super packed quickly depending on what’s going on.

Came up to Williamsburg from Norfolk for the weekend and we liked it so much we went back both nights. Jimmy and Connor were excellent bartenders with amazing personalities even in the midst of a busy Saturday night! Will definitely be returning next time we visit! Decent beer selection and great drinks as well😎

I wouldn’t call myself a regular but I do go quite often with my friends for trivia on Monday nights I am also a local. I don’t know what we did to the servers there but every time we go no matter what server we have we always have bad service. We are always respectful, tip well, aren’t disrespectful or needy. But tonight we timed how long it would take between ordering drinks and ordering food and it took 30 minutes for our server to come to our booth. While the 3 tables surrounding us were checked on and served multiple times. We also tried to wave down our server multiple times before he even came to our table. It honestly feels like they have a vendetta against us but we don’t understand why we have done nothing wrong. Maybe it’s because we’re not W&M students or because we said we didn’t like one rude waiter over a year ago. But honestly we’re at a loss we love playing trivia there and don’t want to stop but honestly the service we receive is horrible and we no longer feel welcome there.
