Drinks were eh. I got a caramel cold brew and the caramel tasted sour - not my cup of tea. When I was ordering a drink, the cashier made me fell dumb and was not very welcoming. I probably won't come back.

I LOVE Grit Coffee and am so glad they are here in Williamsburg. I followed Brit (the most amazing barista) over from another local shop because their customer service and coffee knowledge is top tier. I would highly recommend Grit to anyone (and I do regularly!).
In reference to the review posted by Jacob about the cashier/barista wearing a mask: have you ever thought about anyone except yourself for a moment? People have worn masks for long before the pandemic. People who wear them usually have chronic illnesses and are avoiding germs that would make them severely ill, or worse. I’m honestly not sure how someone wearing a mask affects the service you received or the quality of the product.

I got the pumpkin cold brew. It was good, but the cashier at the front was wearing a mask. We’re in 2025, not in a pandemic. You want to wear a mask on your free time I don’t care, but I’m here for coffee, not to talk to someone with a mask on. Felt the customer service overall was very off-putting, will not be spending a dime here. As I was leaving I said thanks for the coffee, have a good day, with no response. I learned everything I needed to know from how this place is run.

First time at Grit Coffee. Love the atmosphere-quiet, clean, open, and modern. Lots of windows and light and many spaces at which to work without distraction. Appreciated the fact that I could order a decaf cappuccino since I wanted to cut back on caffeine. Cappuccino was served in a stone wear cup (which I prefer over disposables); it was delicious. Service was good-not overly friendly, but efficient in making a good cup of java. Had no problem finding parking on the street in front of the establishment. Overall, a good experience.

The coffee is good. Extractions are great and not bitter at all. Coffee is super good.weve visited a few times and it's consistently good. Wish there were a few more menu options for coffee!!!

Great place and highly recommended. The vibe is on point if you want to stay and sip or order your coffee to go. The coffee temperature was just write and highly encourage anyone looking for a coffee vibe to stop by.

Finally got a chance to stop in, and I already can't wait to come back. Vibes are immaculate. Relaxing, but also upbeat. The kind human that helped me pick out my drink was very happy and helpful in recommending a drink based on what I was looking for. We landed on a lavender lemonade cold brew and it's incredible. Made me wanna sit out on the patio for a good bit and enjoy the moment.

I walked in unsure of what I wanted (but with an idea)- Matthew helped walk me through the perfect drink to order! I got an Iced Coconut lavender latte with oat milk. It is amazing!! Will be coming back to try everything else. It was very clean and organized.

It's summer and morning for context. I came here seeking a modern, spacious spot to do a bit of work and get out of my home office. Needed fresh energy and sunshine. Great ambiance. Lots of chair space. The music isn't too loud and it's not rowdy (as some coffee shops can be.) Lots of different types of seating, and there's free wifi. In terms of outlet placement, it's OK. There are blind spots but if you really need an outlet, they're available around certain areas of seating. Bathrooms are clean and tables/chairs available outside as well. They also have a nice assortment of coffees and pastries, and the prices are decent (starting at about $4-$5 for anything decent.) I will try this spot out again and might update this, but for now, it's a go-to.
