Was traveling from out of town and found this cute spot! The food was great, service was friendly and professional, and I love the atmosphere. Would definitely visit again!Vegetarian options: There were many pastries and non-meat options here as well as oat milk and other non-dairy substitutes for the drinks

No doubt the coffee and pastry were delicious. We came around 9:30 am and the place was packed. The staff, although pleasant, were either not well trained or severely understaffed. The wait for 2 lattes was about 30 minutes. We had to wait an additional 5 minutes before the bombolone we ordered was bagged up for us. The case was fully loaded with pastries and sandwiches, so I am not sure why it wasn't served with the drinks.

Great coffee for 5 bucks a cup. No Italian Pastries at this place unless you grab the bindi waffles. The people making the coffee are very rude they are creepy and have very bad attitudes. The lady puts the coffee in front of you and then expects you to know that it's yours. The cannolis are 7 bucks which you're not going to enjoy these, as I doubt they are filled on the spot. Great for tourists who don't know what Italian pastries are... big disappointment.

This is an Illy in the middle of Williamsburg. It's not going to be cute or cheap but the coffee is really excellent, and the baristas know what they're doing. We recently had mochas here, with oat milk, and were surprised how tasty they were -- not too sweet, and beautifully made. Every time we stop in, the coffee is reliably great. The restrooms are clean and bright, too, which is not to be taken for granted in a tourist area. But everything - everything! - is expensive in this cafe, hence one star off.

I absolutely loved my drink from Illy Cafe! Honestly the vibe made me feel like I was back in Italy at a cafe. My latte was very delicious and was exactly what I needed on this crisp cool January evening. I will definitely frequent Illy Cage when levee I visit colonial Williamsburg!

This afternoon my wife called Illy coffee to have them hold 4 feta and spinach pastries until I could get there to pick them up. She offered to pay for them over the phone. The man who answered the call said " that's not necessary we will definitely have them till closing at 7:00pm. Well, I got there at 6:35 pm and they were sold out. I wanted these to take to my son who lives in NJ. Very disappointed!!!!

Coffee and their pastries are good. But this store in particular had dirty floors, trash overflowing, tables, and counters were also dirty. Also, their customer service, not great. The lady was on her phone as we stood in front of her.

This is a nice little cafe right in downtown Williamsburg VA, not you mom n pop cafe but more of your DC NYC cafe with prices to match. The food is ok, the coffee selection vast and the hot tea as you would expect. Stopped here before going in to the Kimbell theatre which is directly opposite. The place was busy and the decor is lovely and convenient.
