Jamestown Settlement Cafe is a great spot to grab a bite to eat after touring the grounds. The cafe is well signed, staffed and has a selection of food for everyone in your group.
This cafe also accommodates large groups with a set menu!
The thought and expertise put into putting this museum together is outstanding. Multi dimensonicial, multi screen video presentations are not to be missed. Great exhibition of artifacts. Start at the first room and progress chronologically. The outside exhibition of the Indian village and Jamestown settlement are supplemented by period costumed, knowledgeable reinactors. We were able to talk to the presenters and ask questions because of low attendance, probably due to the time of year. The outdoor exhibits are fun and interactive, and the exhibition halls inside are so informative. The staff was also personable and helpful too. We were in the halls indoors for a couple of hours and no lines or crowds at all, so it felt like we had the galleries to ourselves. We still didn't read everything even with no waiting.
