They stay open later than plaza Azteca and squeezed me in for an order 30 minutes before closing. I've been going to plaza for years but this place might be better. Queso dip was great as was guacamole and their salsa. Taquitos were also fantastic and service great too. 5 stars guys

Food was delicious and service excellent. Price was affordable. My son asked for the hottest hot sauce they had and the waiter gave him homemade. He said it was excellent. We will be back.

Went there at 5:30 on 10/25/2025 and was charged on my cc $44.68…. The correct charge.

At 10:38 PM on 10/25/2025( 38 minutes after they are closed on the same day)we were charged on my cc
again, for double the amount of my first bill $89.36. FRAUD.

We arrived in town after a long day of travel - hungry - and wanted some good Mexican food. This place did not disappoint! Chips & salsa and a creamy dip were complimentary and a perfect start. My husband had the chicken chimichanga dinner and I had the Enchiladas Blancas. Both were excellent! Some of the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend!

From out of town and picked this based on reviews! The service started off slow but nothing major. Food came out crazy quick, and was delicious! Had plenty leftover to take with us. 2 adults, 2 teens, and a baby out the door for $78.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the quesadilla rellena. It was the best quesadilla I've ever had, and we've been to many Mexican restaurants. My husband had a burrito rellena and enjoyed it as well. Definitely recommend, we're from VB, and we'll be back.

This is rapidly becoming the family's go to TexMex in Williamsburg. We love hitting up the lunch menu. Fast, tasty, filling, great service, TV's showing real football (aka, soccer) with periodic "GOOOOAAAALLL" screaming announcers. Definitely puts you in the mood to have fun and enjoy yourself. Started out with the standard app: chips & salsa. It just warms my heart whenever some place serves white salsa. Or whatever they call it. I know I'm in heaven then. One day I'll figure out what's in it and likely stop. But until then - bliss. I am a sucker for any TexMex with a "Speedy Gonzalez" lunch item. In fact, I don't recall if I've ever NOT seen that lunch option. In this case, it gets you a taco & enchilada that is probably the standard for a Speedy. Unfortunately only one side? Not sure if I hate it, but definitely a cost cutting move. All the items were great. Finally, the servers were FANTASTIC. Well done with a place that has great peeps.

Having visited several Mexican restaurants in various cities, including a few in Williamsburg and Newport News, I must admit that La Terraza has not quite met my expectations.

Parking: There is a complimentary parking lot available.
Staff: The staff members were friendly and pleasant.
Food Quality: Unfortunately, the overall food quality was below average. I sampled the fish tacos and vegetable enchiladas, but the quality and taste were not particularly impressive.

I scored it off my last visited. I placed an order with no onions. They put onions on it and I sent it back. They picked the onions off and sent it back to me. I told them to keep it. Everyone cannot eat onions. I would've got sick from the onions juice on the other food that the onions were on. Then I had to call my lawyer.

I enjoyed eating at La terraza, all the servers are polite and they don’t care whose table it is. Who ever walks by you they ask if everything is okay. Prices for door are good. I will recommend this restaurant
