My husband returned to the restaurant in the rain to get a slice of coconut cake that was NOT in our bags. We called to let them know ahead of time and were not jerks like we could have been. Some of the staff were wonderful, however one of the staff gave major attitude and argued with my husband when he returned insisting it was put in the bag (as his food was sitting on the table at home getting cold)…Come on, really? My husband and I have a history in retail and you know when someone is genuine or not. How about apologize instead of looking down on an honest customer.

We came her around 5ish PM on a Sunday evening. We got seated and waiting for maybe 10/15 min for someone to wait on us, no one offered a high chair and no one was available to ask for one, for our screaming 2 year old. The restaurant was maybe half full? Someone gave us chips. Then our waitress came and got our drink order— two drinks and a water. Water was forgotten. Okay that’s fine. I then politely ask for a booster seat for our kid trying to climb all over the table. Booster was forgotten. And there was literally no one around for us to ask for one! We ordered our food, got it fast, which was good I guess. The actual food? Terrible. And there was still no one around to ask for anything!! We ordered chicken and rice and pollo Popeye. The chicken and rice was cold. The Pollo Popeye was chicken, bacon and “steamed veggies”. The veggies were tasteless and seasonless. The chicken was topped with what tasted like cheese whiz out of a fan. I took a few bites and couldn’t eat anymore. We didn’t see our waitress until ten ish min into our meal and at that point, with food we weren’t going to eat, and our kid fussing and trying to climb everywhere, we just paid and left. I mean I’m not trying to be an a-hole but it was very frustrating and we left disappointed and still had to stop somewhere to get more food

Food was very good but the waitress not so good but I left her a 10.00 tip in cash and paid with credit card well she decided to add her another 10.00 on my credit card without my permission. I called the next day when I seen it and they said I had to call my cc company I explained to the cc company what happened and 1 day later it was refunded back to me.

There is a plethora of Mexican restaurants in Williamsburg, but La Terraza is one of the better ones. They have great Margarita specials on Mondays and Tuesdays. Their fajita portions are large and seasoned great. Go on a Monday or Tuesday and get your value with their specials.

This has been our go to Mexican restaurant. Everything on the menu is delicious and you get plenty of it. The service is tremendous, and I highly suggest the Guac table service, hand made right in front of you! This is the best Mexican in Williamsburg.

The food was delicious. We had hard shell beef tacos and cheese quesadillas. The chips were fresh and crunchy. The two sauses were great. It took a long time to get our final bill. The location was great, easy to access and leave.

I really enjoy this Mexican food place. They will provide spicy salsa and grilled Serranos upon request. My go to for spicy and delicious is the Baja Diabla. It’s shrimp tacos and comes with beans or rice. Love the beans. Next time I go I’ll get a picture to share. Prices are reasonable and drinks are big!

Outstanding place to eat! Food taste so authentic and very fresh. I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri, which was very good.. Pricing was under 50 for two, including drinks. A nice gateway if you want something different..??
