Wonderful restaurant with authentic Spanish food. Their staffing and work distribution could improve. Our fantastic waitress was running ragged serving too many tables while 2 hostesses sat nearby scrolling on their phones for 2 hours as people waited with empty water glasses.

Great place. Really good esthetic. The quality of the food and level of service is way more than you would expect when you see the prices. One of the best places to stop in Williamsburg. This was my first time, but it won't be my last.

We have been purchasing Spanish food from La Tienda for several years at the recommendation of Jose Andres. We finally had the opportunity to have Tapas in Wednesday May 1st. It was delicious especially the berenjenas con miel and the sangria. Truthfully everything was delicious. They were very accommodating letting us eat on the patio since we had our small dog with us. We will come back.

Love this one of a kind tapas Cafe in Williamsburg. Skip the paella and order a few of the small plates. Highly recommend the eggplant and the dates. The white sangria is simple but delicious. Reservations are recommended for regular dining start times.

Cool place for tapas. Highly recommend the eggplant dish. In fact, get one just for you. Sangria was fun. Prices were reasonable. Good wine selection. The attached store has lots of goodies to bring home.

What happened to La Tienda??? We had reserved a table for 5:30 tonight. Walked in the back door and were told to check in at the front. We did and were seated promptly. Only 2 other small parties were seated and they had food and drinks already. Someone brought us waters and menus. 15 minutes later we still hadn't been asked for drink or food order. My husband could see one server was on her phone in the hallway. We got up to walk out and the same person that told us to check in the front, told us to have a great night. We were never served! La Tienda used to be high on our list. Never again. This is the second time this has happened to us.

Great food and experience. Lived in Spain for 6 months, and can emphatically say this place is authentic. Only qualm is that the paella could use a pop of seasoning. The other comments on the small size of the paella can be dismissed; the waiting staff clearly mentioned it was the size of a standard tapa.tapas.Cherry on top of that they have free wine tastings on Saturdays.

We had reservations and were seated immediately, I liked the ambience and vibe of the place. But it took about 10-15mins for someone to take our drink orders. Then a big party walked in and it seemed that the wait staff wanted to prioritize them. By the time we put our drink orders in, we knew what we wanted for food. We didn't get anything out of the ordinary - meatballs, mussels, paella, churros. Our order took almost 1.5hrs to come out - no one checked on us in the mean time, drinks were running low, the food actually came out when I considered leaving. Meanwhile the big party of people all had their food and drinks by this point. Our waitress was very kind and food was good, but I don't think I'll be back to eat here. The service was just too bad - no apology, no one stopped by our table to reassure food was coming, nothing.

So, food was very good. However, the inattentive service was unacceptable. Very rude waitress (white hair). You know who she is. This is the third time we have had her. This time we were a table of six. Sat with empty glasses for 45 minutes. She talked with colleagues at the bar most of the night. Not sure why you put up with her. Hurting your busines.

Very old building provides an intimate setting. Staff is very personable and the food is excellent. Everyone should try this place if you're in Williamsburg.
