We enjoyed a pleasant dinner at Le Yaca. We were seated in the bar at the bar's entrance, not a very good table too much foot traffic and noise. appetizers: We enjoyed the crabmeat crepe and scallops selections, the crab meat was well prepared, the scallops were tough but good flavor. We shared the 2 lobster tail and beef tenderloin entrees. Even though we expressed our intent to share we had to ask for an additional plate. Both entrees were well prepared and tasty. We ordered the cheese cake and apple pastry desserts. Both were excellent. Our server was not particularly attentive thus the lower rating.

Ambiance is the best thing they have going. We go yearly on our anniversary. Our service, while good, wasn't as attentive as we have experienced before. It was slow due to our waiter having a big party in addition to our table. Server may have been new as he didn't know the cost of the larger serving of wine. In food, it was great but we both experienced some stomach issues later same night which we believe may have been from the French onion soup. We would still return, however in hopes this was a one off.

We travel from Va beach to Williamsburg just to go to Le Yaca. Exceptional food and service. Minh our waiter has waited on us more than once. He's so courteous and welcoming. The escargot takes us back to Paris. All the food is served with such care.

Wonderful, warm and quiet atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive . My guest and I had the 3 course lunch. The lobster bisque, although flavorful had no bits of lobster in it - rather disappointing! My entree, the Gratin --St Jaque (?) was quite tasty. As for value I thought the price was certainly within reason for the service and food quality. I would consider returning and trying something different.

The older woman hostess was rude to me upon arriving.. There were 5 of us from out of town and her comment about arriving early for the reservation (20min) was unnecessary and condescending. She proceeded to promptly seat us , walking us down the hall until she stopped and turned around and yelled at the young hostess this table is taken. We were taken back to lobby and when I approached her said to me , "well you were 30 minutes early", uncalled for comment again. That front of house experience set the tone for our lunch which was the first time at Le Yaca. Fortunately our dining experience was delightful with a very attentive waiter, service was excellent and the food simply divine. I hope to return soon.

Dinner was exquisite and we appreciated the toast with champagne in celebration of our anniversary. Le Yaca is one of our favorites.

Le Yaca is consistently wonderful! I only visit Williamsburg once or twice a year, and have made this a traditional visit over the past 20! years! Service is excellent and they've accommodated my requests for their back, quiet room, when I've needed it. The main areas are lively as well as the bar. We did the 5 course menu and everything we ordered was fabulous - perfectly cooked and delicious! Thank you!

We had a lovely brunch, and I was excited to see that the lobster with truffles really had truffles and not just truffle oil! Always love this restaurant!

The ambiance was perfect — a comfortable blend of modern decor and cozy charm. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a romantic dinner or a relaxed meal with friends.

This has been a favorite place for my husband & I for birthdays & anniversaries - but my recent birthday dinner was a disappointment. We were seated before 6pm, & walked out around 8pm - and we just had an appetizer & dinner. 3 tables around us had guests who finished, left & were replaced with 3 other couples - who all received their dinners before us. My husband ordered the escargot appetizer & after waiting a very long time, we asked the server what was taking so long. She said the escargot was the hold up. I have made escargot myself & it takes 10 min to prepare. For the main course, i ordered duck & my husband had salmon. My duck was chewy & my husband had bones in his salmon. The service was spotty - I never got a much needed refill for my water (the only thing i had to drink) but everyone else around us did. Regardless, the experience was a such a let down, we will not return. Such a shame.

Classic French cuisine served with Southern warmth. My beef tenderloin with béarnaise was tender and perfectly seasoned, while the escargot starter felt indulgent but approachable. The atmosphere is elegant yet not stuffy, making it ideal for a special night out.

Just okay. Considering the reviews and the price, I was really shocked at just how average the food is here. All the dishes had a similar taste - like they have a house sauce that they use liberally throughout the menu. Not much variety, no innovation and certainly not elevated. While the staff was nice, the service still lacked a bit - think missing cutlery & napkins and cloudy stemware. Overall a decent but rather boring relatively expensive meal. I would spend the money elsewhere to have a more memorable experience.
