Maurizio's Italian Restaurant

The food was good. Got half our order wrong and the rest of us were done eating before the fixed meals came out. Communication with the waitress was a struggle. No discount given for such a long wait for fixed (which were two Italian subs) to come back out.
To top off our less than stellar experience we were changed a gratuity of 20% on very poor service. Drinks were mostly empty and took forget to get attention to get them refilled.

Totally unexpected attention as the staff provided us a full dining experience. The prices were modestly high, but not overwhelming. We enjoyed the special dinner for two and that was a great deal. We enjoyed a traditional Italian fare yet, I am certain the pizza too was exceptional. We will return. While there look closely at the photographs. These will draw the viewer into a land far away and long ago.

We stopped by after walking in and out of the Mexican restaurant next door. So glad we did.

Everything was amazing. The service, the food, the wine, the atmosphere. Fantastic.

Food was great. Very flavorful and fresh. I only rated 4 stars instead of 5 because I’m not a fan of large cut tomatoes in my food. I would have rather them diced much smaller. Our waiter Brain was amazing. Made excellent recommendations and was accurate with everyone he made. Will definitely return.

I’m from New York, but lived around VA for a decade. This is as close as I’ve had to a NY Italian restaurant. Good portions, good food, good prices, and here.

Went for dinner with a friend. The staff was friendly and attentive. All of the food was great. We had some of the best calamari I've had since coming to Virginia.

The only downside I can think of is that it seems that some of the meals are much smaller than others. The ravioli my friend got was a much smaller portion compared to the scallop pasta I ordered.

This is an excellent restaurant I've owned over 15 restaurants and I am not from this town I felt myself lucky find an excellent restaurant like this for a friend of mine and I could dine don't think twice about going here it was very good with very good service

We just had the most delicious meal!! So authentic and nearly everything is fresh made in their home kitchen! The short rib and mushroom pasta was unlike anything we’ve ever had - so delicious! And the ricotta pasta was perfectly cheesy and sweet topped with two tender homemade meatballs. We can’t wait to come back! Brian is the most knowledgeable host. 5 stars!!!!!

Saw the restaurant hidden in area near Kingsmill. I had no idea it was there. The people were very nice and the fresh fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. I will tell others and go again when I'm in Williamsburg.

Stopped here to avoid buying park food and were pleasantly surprised at just how amazing this place was. Our server Abraham was attentive, professional; the atmosphere was lovely; and the food was heavenly. Seriously so good. Have to recommend the Dinner for Two: Mama's Plate. A little bit of everything (and everything was amazing). Thanks so much to all the staff! We've been at amusement parks all day and coming here might actually be the highlight.
