Poor customer service
The employees I encountered Practice Reverse Discrimination! All peoples of any races / ethnic groups should be served & attended to.

If I could do negative I would. -187 or more. Every single time I am there, morning, afternoon or night there’s never anyone tending the drive thru. Which, cool, you don’t want to offer that option, put a cone or do the automated voice saying we aren’t open. But nope it’s always within posted business hours and no one ever helps. The one time in the 15+ times I got service, everything was old. The tea tasted four days old, the fries looked like they’d been fried 8 times but were still cold, and the food was cold and not even what I ordered. Save your time. I’ve tried and tires. Horrible ownership. Not even management. They do not care.

This is no fault of the specific people working this day, but someone didn't staff right. Too few people to handle all the little bits, like cleaning surfaces (too sticky in one place, too slippery in another), filling ice machines, and keeping an expo presence to handle one register and food issues.

We have been sitting in the drive thru line for the past 40 minutes…20 minutes for someone to take our order and 20min waiting for our food. Even tried to go inside and they locked all the doors but they were still supposed to be open until 10p. Ended up just leaving, even though we paid. Who knows what they would’ve done with our food or the quality at that point. By far THEE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a fast food place, let alone a McDonald’s. I wish I had read the reviews first before we pulled in, but who even thinks of reading reviews on a McDonald’s (when it should be quick and fast).

Just sat at the drive thru window for 45 minutes. Only 3 other cars and nobody's order was taken. If the car behind me didn't leave I would still be there. Then I looked at the reviews and realizes this place is a mess. No wonder.

We went to McDonalds in Williamsburg Virginia tonight 12/26/25, we arrived at 9:15, the drive thru line sat idle with no one taking the orders for over 15 minutes so we went inside and ordered. We ordered by the time we placed our order at the kiosk it was 9:38. Order number 783. We patiently waited for our food, they were busy but they were also so unorganized and so unclean!! At 10:25 I went to the counter and asked if order 783 was ready, I saw them bagging my food and it sitting there not under any kind of heat lamp while employees were emptying trash cans, whipping counters down, the “manager” was telling people they were closed. No one was finishing my order! I started filming and asked why they weren’t finishing my order I had now been there almost an hour and your employees are taking the trash out and wiping down counters, trying to go home! The male wiping the counter then proceeds to yell at me that packing my food isn’t his damn job it’s not his fault. I asked for the manager. A female comes around the counter and proceeds to start screaming at me and refuses to give me a receipt of any kind, the kiosk did not work so I never received any receipt! We finally just said screw it we would contact corporate office. We then went to our hotel about 3 minutes away. We received no sauces, my sons happy meal did not have the toy, and no napkins. Once we got settled in I went to eat my double quarter pounder and pulled out a huge piece of plastic!! Which appears to be a part of someone’s glove, which I’m not sure how that would happen because I never saw any employee wearing gloves! I have a video of the workers and how they acted and a video of us removing the plastic from my sandwich.

I written a formal complaint to corporate but the general public needs to know right away to avoid this place at all costs!!

It took an hour to get our food and we watched the employees yell at a customer for questioning why when half of the employees were just doing closing activities instead of helping get customers their food. On top of that there was a plastic wrapper in my wife’s burger.

By far the rudest people I have ever encountered at a fast food restaurant!! 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday December 17, 2025. Drive through people have zero manners. Told to pull up and wait. Just wanted an estimate of how long it would be...I DONT KNOW. PULL UP MA'AM. NO PLEASE OR THANK YOU. JUST DEMANDS. Will never go back. My experience with the Wendy's next door was pleasant and they will get my business going forward! Oh and the fries were cold! Of course

Drive thru supposedly closes at 12 am, but we were waiting for over 20 mins for someone to respond or say something the speaker. There were a lot of people waiting and a lot left. All the employees were outside in the back and they noticed there were people waiting and didnt do anything…

If I could give this location a negative star, I absolutely would. Currently sitting at the drive through (where we’ve been for 40 minutes). Nobody will acknowledge us sitting here. The lobby is closed and we are one or two cars here. No excuses. This is the worst “fast food” experience in all 44 years of my life. Updates: we were just cussed out by one of the employees for inquiring about what’s taking so long . Unreal. Fire every person here and start over

Literally waitin in line for 10min with no person @ the cashier desk.... WTH is goin on here... Horrible McDonald's... I just left nobody takin orders... It's like their hiding in the back. I left without getting anything... Complete waste of my time

I know McDonalds has been reduced to the lowest quality of all fast food restaurants, but I didn't know I could get any lower until last night at this location. I placed my order using the kiosk (a cost saving/job reduction tactic), but wanted to pay at the counter. No one was there, so I said hello to the people behind the counter. The lady in back responded back by saying hello and then went back to what she was doing eventually someone came. While waiting for my order, I went to the beverage station and there was no ice. I brought it to their attention and the manager told an employee to bring some ice for the machine. That never happened. Once I received my order, the McNuggets were lukewarm and some were just plain cold. I eventually poured my beverage without ice and all of the flavors I tried tasted watered down. In summary, McDonald's forgot about their customers and seems to be more concerned about profitability. And the annual McRib sandwich is not going to bring customers back. I'm done.

By the way, I tried the McD link for the feedback and it was rejected twice with an error message. What a joke!
