Miyaki Sushi and Grill

Attentive customer service. Spring Rolls were pretty hollow. Didn't taste good. Chose not to eat them. Sushi was just okay.. Wasn't a fan of the Styrofoam packaging.

Thai green curry was good. Do not recommend the spicy salmon or spicy tuna rolls. The hot sauce is gross that goes on them.

Thought it was a Japanese sushi place, but had a few Korean dishes. Chirashi was average, but Dolsot Bibimbap was excellent, though without any side dishes, which would have gotten them 5 stars.

Picked up a few rolls from Miyaki Sushi and Grill while staying nearby on vacation. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the takeout service was quick and efficient. Great spot for a quality meal on the go—would definitely stop by again!

I would give it zero stars if I could. The food on 6/22/2025 had no flavor and on top of that my whole family got food poisoning from it. Ordered chicken stir fry and lo mein and chicken fried rice 0/10 would not recommend

There is a huge shortage of good Korean food in Williamsburg. Believe it or not Miyaki sushi makes the most authentic pork bulgogi I have found since moving to Virginia. Will have to try the Galbi next time. Their sushi was great too

Honestly the 4 stars is just because the chef and food was good and great flavor we had hibachi , BUT !! who wants to wait 30 minutes after bein sitting and having a reservation to be taking your drinks order ?? The server was so short , we had 2 shellfish allergies guest and she never asked anything , we try talking to her but she was short and always running around
I get it it's Saturday night , they're busy but honestly the management needs to put more effort on costumer service
If you decide to visit the place , be patient and ne ready for a long wait but tasteful food.

Dietary restrictions: They need to be more careful about vegetarian people at hibachi !! They cooked all the veggies at the same grill

Our visit to Miyaki Sushi and Grill was underwhelming. The food was mediocre overall, with each dish falling short of expectations. The miso soup was particularly disappointing, as it lacked the rich, savory umami flavor that comes from a proper dashi base, making it taste bland and uninspired. The Unagi Don was passable, mainly because it’s hard to go wrong with teriyaki sauce, but the unagi itself was a letdown—it wasn’t firm, which took away from the texture and overall enjoyment of the dish.

The bulgogi was another miss. It tasted bland and lacked the bold, savory flavors you’d expect. Even after asking for sesame seeds to enhance it, the dish still felt flat and uninspired.

The service was decent—nothing to rave about, but no significant complaints either. The restaurant itself was averagely clean, which didn’t leave a strong impression one way or another.

Overall, the experience was lackluster. While it wasn’t entirely bad, there’s a lot of room for improvement, especially in terms of food quality and flavor.

Omg!!! Super great service and the sushi was excellent.!! We had three special rolls, and all three are our favorites! We make it a point to drive an hour just to eat here! Highly recommended!!

While I am not the MOST frequent customer to Japanese steakhouses, I have been to quite a few. Miyaki was hands down the absolute BEST I have ever had. The staff was polite & professional; the food was perfect. If we lived in Williamsburg, this would be a definite add-on to our list of restaurants to frequent.
