The curried chicken was surprisingly good. A little spicy, chickpeas, nice mix of rice. Best thing on the menu. Coffee was good too.

While visiting Colonial Williamsburg, we were looking for a simple and reasonable place to eat. We decided on this location and were quite pleased. They have a great selection of drinks, food and desserts. I got the ½ Turkey sandwich with American cheese, bacon, lettuce and cheese on Focaccia bread with ½ Caesar salad ($15). My wife got the same sandwich with a Greek salad. They both came with pickle wedges. The only issue I had was that the whole time we were there; no employee ever came out and wiped off any tables or straightened the chairs.

Ate there for lunch today. Food was delicious (I had the corn chowder and my wife had the chicken bbq sandwich). Price was reasonable for the Williamsburg area. One of the better places we have eaten in the area. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Ate at this Cafe a little bit ago service was extra slow and food was decent but very overpriced lady cashier Monica was very rude and did not give me my annual pass discount when I asked her about it she was very rude and said I had to give it to her before purchase I will not be earing at this Cafe again ....shame on them for treating guest so badly

This is a good stop for a light lunch in a quiet place. The Cafe is now located in the new museum addition. The large dining area has floor to ceiling windows looking out onto a patio (outdoor dining tables available). The food is priced in line with the historic area and offered basic, tasty fare. The corn chowder is thick & creamy and my Cuban sandwich was good as well. Each meal is assembled upon ordering so if there is a crowd the line can build. The staff was very friendly & hard working and was doing their best to move the line. It's a very nice place to enjoy a meal.

Only would come back if was extremely thirsty for grab and go drink. Service was slow even when not busy. Sandwiches all pre-made and warmed up. See phot for their version of a Cuban.

Expensive cold sandwiches that don’t taste fresh. Will not return. Also, google has the location wrong.

Excellent food, great prices, and plenty of space. We always try to eat outside, which is a great option.I heartily recommend their chili! Simply delicious!! And it's not too spicy. If you don't want to wait in line, go early or go late.

We ate here twice, during our two days of exploring the exhibits and listening to the recitals at the adjoining Museums; and both times we really enjoyed our meals. Though at times we witnessed some long lines, when we wanted some nourishment, we were able to order and be served almost immediately. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We found the corn chowder to be quite tasty, with the Cuban sandwich satisfying; and the rum cream pie providing a wonderfully delicious indulgence. We would definitely eat here again, when visiting the Art Museums.

The Museum Cafe is in a new location from the one shown in the current photo. It is a larger seating area as well as more food service space. The food is very good and price wise in line with other local places we visited. The Club sandwich is very good, generous in size (we now split it - just ask for an extra plate). The hot dogs are large. Cookies OK. The issue is the time it takes. Part of our group hit the line at 11:45 with a half dozen in front of us and the time was reasonable. They do not do any cooking - some heating but mainly just getting it out. But just two staff working today and they were working hard, but.... Since three of our party had chosen to attend a presentation near the Capital and would be late arriving . After finishing my lunch I got a place in line at 12:30 and thought it would be OK. They arrived and one took my spot - they got their food at 1:10! Not complicated - a yogurt, mac and cheese and a club sandwich. Looking at the line my guess some had almost an hour to wait. The problem is your limited options which are mainly going to Merchants square and that will take just as long! My advice is arrive early - prior to noon! Or eat late!

The Cuban sandwich was great. My wife loved her corn chowder. The chocolate fudge cake is a must!
