My visit to Peking Restaurant in Williamsburg was disappointing from start to finish. Even though the buffet offers a fair amount of choices, most of the items were sitting in poorly heated chafing dishes, leaving the food lukewarm and unimpressive. The overall atmosphere felt tired, and the service didn’t do much to improve things. The waitresses rarely checked in, and it seemed like no one was paying attention to the dining area at all. The biggest red flag for me was the cleanliness. The floors and carpet were extremely dirty, and after seeing that, there was no way I was willing to step into the restrooms. When basic hygiene isn’t maintained, it’s hard to trust anything coming out of the kitchen. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Do yourself a favor...do not go here. 30 years ago it was great, the place to go. Went 3 years ago, it was pretty bad, we went tonight because we were in the mood for asian, hoped it had improved, it hasn't. The dining room is disgusting and the food is worse. I hate to give bad reviews, but this is twice in a row.

Lots of food choices, but all mediocre at best. Food that should be hot is not. Not as good as I remembered from prior visits. We probably will not return.

The food is over-cooked and cold. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. The chicken is as tough as an old boot and the temperature is not hot at all!

Just awful. Floors and tables sticky, food and trash on floor, sushi was room temperature, dumplings were hard, raw food set out to select for Mongolian bbq but no one to cook it. Noodle bar for making your own noodle soup was unmanned so you couldn’t make it. Just yuck!

My wife and I drove down to this location prior to coming down on June 27 with the Girls Scouts. We wanted to see how good the food was and the condition of the restaurant. We weren't that please with the first visit, but we introduced ourselves to the P.O.C and the attitude changed which wasn't a problem. When we drove down a week later with 50 Girls the food was a lot better, and the service was great. The manager stated that she tried the day prior to call workers in to help with the service because not only did they have our 50 to serve but another bus load came in 20 minutes later. I normally don't give 4's or 5's on rating but when you have over 100 ppl to serve plus the other customers they deserve it. The food was up to temperature the 2nd visit and fresh. The 5 servers that was there did an outstanding job!

This place was rediculous!!! The food was horrible, tasteless, nasty food..I touched everything as i put it on my plate.. it was not hot..it was room temperature at best. There's not alot of Buffet food options. SERVICE... left a lot to be desired.. they sat us, my husband and I, brung our drinks and then moved us to another table (a round 5 top) because the server forgot that a large party was coming in. Then while we were eating she's coming to our table pulling chairs. There were at least 20 empty tables to choose from. I guess she didn't think it would be rude to interrupt our dinner and snatch chairs from our table. We will never return to this 'Peking'. At 17.99 a person.. they've lost there mind!

we first started going to Peking Restaurant when they were and you'll station by the Food Lion here in williamsburg. my daughter my grandson and my step granddaughter and I came to Peking for dinner this evening. it was the worst food I have ever had I got some of the food took one bite of most everything I had couldn't eat anything else. the only thing I had more of Worthy string beans the sesame chicken was swimming in Juice rather than being in a glaze the General Tso's chicken had no heat it was like chicken in a sweet barbecue sauce the noodles for the Mongolian Grill all stuck together in big big clumps but all in all the quality of the food was absolutely terrible! I told them at the register that I was upset at the fact that I was not able to eat really anything yet I had to pay $16.99 for a dinner and upon leaving it is actually made me sick to my stomach. I do not recommend Peking Restaurant to anybody it was terrible I'll go to a Chinese takeout before I go there ever again sorry but not sorry you've really lost someone who had been going to your restaurant in many many years we won't be back

We have been coming here for years- since before the expansions. The food is still dependably good, but the chairs, tables and decor need cleaning / replacing. The seats are out table were stained and torn.

The soups were very tasty. The starters less, very greasy and the spareribs too sweet. For the maincourse we had sizzling beef. That's really recommended. So nice and tastyA

No egg option at the Mongolian grill sadly. Not sure why they don't have that on offer. The rest of the food was great. Plenty of kid friendly options for picky eaters.
