I’ve eaten at many Peter Chang’s group restaurants - even in recent months. Consistency and QC versus the other locations in Northern Virginia is unequivocally missing. The fried rice (served with my lamb and fish hotpot) tasted more like it was bathed in soy sauce than anything else. The soup broth was decent, yet boring, and overall it was rather plain - but not bad. Not the experience I’ve had (more characteristic flair, presentation, and pro prep) in the other DC metro locations. Also more filled with veggies, etc. I’ll probably stick to the locations close in to DC next time I hit up Peter Chang’s. Service was great though!

The food was perfectly cooked and very juicy. Dumplings and bubble scallion pancake was a big hit. The shredded duck with onions was delicious and had an excellent contrast of textures. Overall all the food was delicious. The server was very nice and informative.

Yes. The Peter Changs from DC/Northern Va has a fantastic restaurant in Williamsburg. Unassuming but delicious is a good way to describe this one. Sour fish soup is one of my absolute favorite dishes and the peppercorns are enough to numb the lips. Not to far from campus a great addition to Williamsburg dining.

Very pleasant surprise to find a place which doesn’t have the traditional American-Chinese menu.

Best Chinese food I've ever had. Very authentic. Some very spicy dishes and others very mild. Everything super flavorful.

The food and service were wonderful. The basil beef and the basil eggplant tasted so fresh. Adrian was such a good, friendly waiter and we both agreed one of the best waiters we’ve ever had.

First time. Got Dan Dan noodles. It was a bowl of spaghetti with a 1/4 cup of beef and a spice sauce on top. Not Dan Dan noodles, and not Dan Dan recipe.

Dishes are hit or miss. Some are very good (cumin lamb), others not so much (mongolean beef is bland). Significantly better fresh in restaurant. Textures take significant hit in to go packaging (what is crispy in restaurant becomes mushy... golden chicken is good in restaurant, but mediocre at best to go).

Portions are very large for most of the dishes. Crispy pork belly was outstanding. Duck was soso, not what I thought it would be.

Order the pine nut fish! It's sweet and sour waffle cut fish. You won't regret it
