I think this will be our one and only visit here. The waiters were very polite and attentive. The food was fine but nothing spectacular in my opinion. I think it was definitely lacking some seasoning. My wife got pork chops and she had to ask for a sharper knife to cut through them because they were fairly tough.
I think that if the food was about half the price and came out in about half the time, my review would be different. Our bill was close to $70 for lunch for two people. And that was two entrees and one can of soda. Keep in mind, I was meeting my wife for lunch in the middle of a work day. From the time we ordered to the time that our food came out was about 40+ minutes. There were only two tables in the restaurant including us with a total of seven people. We came in a little bit before 1:00 in the afternoon. I would hate to see what it would be like if there was an actual lunch rush.
All things considered, there's nothing here that encourages me to come back.

Went there last night. The restaurant was cold. Although the server was nice, the food was not very good. My wife ordered beef tenderloin with vegetables and fries. The steak was overdone and therefore tough. Hardly any vegetables and the fries were soggy from the juice. I had 1/2 rotisserie chicken, rice and fries. The chicken was good, rice was just plain white rice and the fries were just plain…not even seasoned.

Absolutely authentic and delicious. Exceptional service. Manager Jean provided personalized service and the Peruvian backstory for every plate we asked about. Jesús, our waiter, has to be the friendliest, hardest working, most efficient and personable servers I have ever seen - and we have traveled the world.
We ordered Yuca a la Huancaina - perfectly cooked and delicious; Causa Acevichada, my God what an amazing dish; and Causa Frito (with calamari)which me and my wife fought over it was so freaking good. And those were just the appetizers.
We followed those with Pargo Frito (whole red snapper) and Bistec a lo pobre. All was wonderful
By far the best meal I have had since moving to Virginia six months ago.

Not the worst Peruvian Chicken I've had but if Williamsburg ever gets a Super Rico it will kill this business. The green sauce was bland and the fried rice was okay, but I was shocked they didn't have traditional yellow sauce available. The staff was very friendly none the less.

This is our second time here since October. We live 275 miles away, but this is one of our first stops every time we come to Williamsburg. The food is authentic and excellent! Large portions and awesome service! Our server, Jean, is sweet and attentive. He remembered us and what we order. The whole roasted chicken is tender and juicy with crispy skin, the fried rice is flavorful, and the sweet plantains are divine! Please stop by. I’m sure they would appreciate your business and you will not be disappointed!

We will definitely be coming back. We love Peruvian food so were looking for a place in the Williamsburg area and a friend told us about Pisco 51. It did not disappoint! Service was fantastic and the food was even better. We had the ceviche mixto, chaufa marisco, and pargo frito. Everything was delicious including the sides (yucca fries and plantains especially). Eat here! You won’t regret it.

Went for lunch at 3pm, first time having Peruvian cuisine. The pork chop was definitely the best thing we had and the dipping sauce is really good. Overall the food was quite nice. Definitely pricy and a bit high but would come back again, just not often.

This place is awful. The service is so bad. Their food is bland. The waitress couldn't helped her "kind" of people first even though we sat 30 minutes earlier than her "kind" of people. The food is big in portion but the taste is lacking. For a cultural restaurant, this place is very bad

Not a place I would recommend, food does not have that traditional Peruvian flavor. Visited twice to confirm my thoughts on this location
