Still the best Mexican food in town and pleasant service too. Fun atmosphare, live music, and then there are the margaritas, just WOW!!! I wish I wasn't such a lightweight 🌮🍹

Always a wonderful experience! Rita's San Jose with no tortilla. Just all on a plate with an extra side of sour cream!

The food was good, the atmosphere was good, loud, but that is testament to how good they are. They did a great job accommodating our large party of 20+ even at peak service times

My husband, myself, and 4 year old just ate here for lunch. They were not busy. Lots of empty tables. Took over 40 minutes to get 2 plain lunch fajitas and a kids quesadilla... despite about triple the amount of employees needed just standing around talking and doing nothing. Also, everything was just okay. No real seasoning to anything. Bland queso. Our fajitas also came out and had the meat, but really none of the peppers or onions they were supposed to have. Mine had literally one tiny 1in piece of a pepper and two very tiny onion pieces that were smaller than that. I'm not even kidding. Also automatically brought out flour instead of corn tortillas. You usually have to ask at any Mexican restaurant for the flour, not the corn. I can't have the flour, but we were almost an hour after ordering at that point and starved so I just ate mine without tortillas. At least the food was hot and cooked well. It was also incredibly hot and humid inside. Even though it was 90 outside, it actually felt better outside than in. At least there was a breeze. Will definitely not be back.

Poor service, waitress had a attitude when I asked to change 1 of the TVs at the bar from the Olympics to the nascar race. Burned my chips? Didn’t even know that was possible. Waitress had an attitude since the moment we sat down. It was quite embarrassing. Also the robots bringing you your food was a joke- not sure why even hire waitresses if a robot brings you food. Might as well just order from a tablet and cut the human out- especially when they are rude and don’t have manners. I’m not going to comment on her poor English since it was a Mexican restaurant, but I will for sure never return to this establishment and make sure my friends/family don’t make the same mistake. Do better. If your only job is to TALK and be nice then maybe you should train your employees on those VERY simple things. It’s really not hard. They ain’t building rockets.

Overall, the restaurant was clean. Food came out pretty fast waited was really nice. I deducted more as to the food very bland somewhat of flavor. Would I go back to eat? No but the service was great.

Take out. We are three minutes away.
Order was ready on time. Packaged nicely. Number 4 enchiladas for hubby and California Fish Tacos for me.
His was fabulous. Hot, prepared to perfection and he enjoyed his dish with leftovers for the next day.
I chose the California Fish Taco’s because the Baja Fish Taco’s were ‘sold out’…
it’s Saturday two hours before evening dinner service ‘rush hour’, in a tourist town, and the most popular dish is sold out? Ok. I’ll chose the next dish that I usually love.
My tacos were totally cold. The tilapia was overcooked, the cabbage was limp and old. An over abundance of cabbage on the taco in comparison to the tilapia portion. The cabbage wasn’t fresh. Like it had been shredded and prepped a week ago. So maybe just a bad, old, head of cabbage? I had one taco. Tossed the other two. The black beans were liquid runny, the rice was the best part of the dish. Two stars because hubby loved his.

I have been to this place many times and have always had a pleasant experience until my last visit. I ordered my usual dish, but it was prepared incorrectly. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, she insisted that the dish is always made that way, which I found hard to believe as I've never encountered it before.

The service was also disappointing as we had to wait quite a while before being served and had to flag down another waitress for assistance. Additionally, the waitress seemed unresponsive and inattentive, which detracted from the overall experience.

Despite this, I must commend another waitress who went out of her way to assist us, even though it was not her table. She provided great service and made the best of the situation.

Although this particular visit was disappointing, I have had great experiences at this restaurant in the past and would have gladly given it a higher rating if not for this visit. I would still recommend this place, but I hope that the service can be more consistent in the future.
