Don't waste time or money going to this location. Go to the Newport news location instead. Nicer staff, cleaner inside, staff knew what they were doing. At the Williamsburg location you will not get much of people knowing what they are doing. Trash is lying on the floor everywhere, you tell the cashier that you want the buy one 6 wings get one 6 wings free deal on the screen and they say they don't offer that, then say you want the other deal of 12 wings with a drink for 13.89 on the screen and then when total comes up they have charged you for a combo instead. Then you tell them you want the deal not the combo, they say it does'nt exist, now you have to get the manager and be a Karen and say if deal is on the screen that is what I want. Then after that is resolved they ask what drink, sure I will just get a fountain drink, nope that is broken too and we don't know how to take deals down off the screen. Why not just close the doors at this point? I know that might be a bit much but trash is on the floor all around, bins are full of trash, drink machine is broke, you can't operate the menu screen, and on top of all that my favorite wings have now gone to a dry rub, and fyi they suck now.

This place is run down, no air conditioning, high humidity and musty. ceiling tiles are dirty and disgusting. floor is sticky. Service is very slow and poorly managed and maintained. My dissapointment is immeasurable. and my day ruined.

Waited a hour for the food to be made. Probably would’ve been longer if we didn’t cancel the order never again

I came to this location at 8pm, they close at midnight. The only sides they had were m&c, fries, and red beans. They didn't have food ready so I had to pull around to the front door from the drive thru where I waited a significant amount of time. If it was close to closing I'd be less irritated. But 4hrs prior should still have a full menu available.

I order the 6 piece sauced bone in wings to my job and it got here first they had no spicey sauce second they looked so old but I chanced it and what do u know about 2 hours later I was sick as hell to my stomach will never order from this Popeyes again the worst shit I have ever had in my life I was so ill.

always takes FOREVER for their staff to get uber and doordash orders to me. i ordered chicken tenders and they felt like eels. biscuit was hard and lemonade tasted chemical. This place is awful now and should be deleted.

This Popeye's is far better than any other on the peninsula (but equal to Popeye's on Langley AFB). It's cleaner, friendlier and they've failed to get my order wrong yet (unlike Hampton/Newport News). The staff appear to work together instead of running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Parking lot is clean and handicap accessible.

No fault of this location, but the app wouldn’t let us cancel an order for another location. Horrible. Then waited for over 20 minutes to just place an order. Just left without any food.

The young Latina at the register yesterday afternoon should be fired. Worst attitude ever. She's also lazy. The soda machine wasn't working for any flavor of soda and did she even bother to say anything about it? Nope. Then when we asked her to fill our cups at the drive-thru window set up instead, she acted like it was such a major imposition. There were many dirty tables and few customers. The glass on the front door was so smudged with grease that you could hardly see through it. This place is a mess and I will never come back. It's not like you expect much from fast food, but there is a limit to what is tolerable and what is not. But there is a limit to what is tolerable and what is not.

Young lady there cashier. Awful customer service. Big girl. Seems to be mad at the world
