Rudest bar staff I have ever encountered. Also the food is always cold. Skip the bad vibes here for one of Williamsburg's other lovely breweries.

Small man with big attitude giving out even bigger problems, sadly poetic. Beyond mediocre food for the same price of having a personal chef. Chuck-E-Cheese might be able to give them some pointers on their food because by the gods was it made by an elementary school student?!? Service itself was almost as chopped as the workers, next time I’ll probably suggest Hooters dried up wings over this place lol goodluck!

This place is so dang cool it's ridiculous. We visited this past weekend for the first time. Plenty of seating, the vibe is great, we enjoyed our drinks, and played some air hockey and other video games while there. Electric Circus tacos on-site were crazy good. We ended up buying a Tshirt and hoodie while there - we had such a good experience. People of Williamsburg are lucky to have such a great place to unwind and meet up with friends!

Have been going to precarious since they opened, it was a fun new spot and the beer was good. It is clear that they have some issues going on, the quality of their beer has dropped notably, the food is expensive but at the same level as tbell or wendys, and more importantly their customer relations is abysmal.
Participated in an 8 week trivia tournament there, spending hundreds of dollars on their overpriced beer during the span of it, so did the rest of our 6 person team, and so did every other team that participated. At the end of the tournament which they were sponsoring the prizes for, they revealed that first place was a shirt, second place was a hat. Not even special ones, we watched the manager grab it off their merch rack. Mind you these were teams of 6+ splitting a single shirt after 8 weeks. The only reason people were doing the tournament is because the previous year VBC hosted and the prizes were whole vacations paid for. Maybe money is tight, but somehow they still have money to put in 3 new LED screens for digital posters every time we go. They even pulled the rug on the mc who thought they were gonna have actual prizes to give out. It’s not all bad though, service seems to be really good if you’re under 21 though because they keep getting busted for serving minors, then get in trouble with ABC and take it out on their regulars by being grumpy and snippy. Don’t waste your time going here, go to VBC, Billsburg, or Aleworks, better beer and waaay better service. Not sure where the issue lies, Amber Ox which i think is under the same ownership used to be mediocre but has only gotten better and better over the years with great food quality and awesome service these days so it’s probably just a middle management issue, maybe the manager pocketed the money for the prizes without the owners knowing, just seems weird that one location is filled with all-stars and the other is filled with benchwarmers, the difference couldn’t be more night and day.

To owner: this has been my personal honest review based on my experience and from what i was told by YOUR employees. If this information is false you should have informed them to not use that as the explanation for stricter carding policy being put in. Very passive aggressive response, I understand why things are going the way they are. Best of luck with your future business endeavors.

Food is mediocre at best. Who wants dry wings with some powder flavor? Great beer selection and atmosphere

We absolutely loved everything about this place! The concept was so creative and full of fun—it made the whole experience really unique and enjoyable. We had a great time exploring everything they had to offer, and the beers were fantastic too. Great vibes, great drinks, and just an all-around awesome spot

This place is so much fun! The tacos are amazing as well, the butternut squash and shrimp I highly recommend! I love the overall atmosphere and the beers on tap are great. Anytime I have some extra time when I'm in Williamsburg, I'll definitely make a stop.

Brian is the best!

Great beer and atmosphere, but the food all around is terrible. If you need a meal skip the local places inside Precarious and go to Mellow Mushroom

Precarious Beer is absolutely amazing! I was there recently, and the staff handled a very difficult situation with the utmost professionalism and grace. A large, obnoxious group was vaping indoors, shouting obscenities, and disturbing everyone around them. It was uncomfortable for the rest of us, but the staff stayed calm, polite, and professional the entire time.

They firmly but respectfully asked the disruptive group to leave, ensuring the rest of us could enjoy our time without further interruptions. I was so impressed by how the team prioritized the comfort and experience of their other customers.

Great beer, great atmosphere, and an even better staff. Thank you, Precarious Beer, for your outstanding service—we’ll definitely be back soon!

Amazing experience! From the servers to the beer to the atmosphere (minus the loud and obnoxious crowd the servers handles with grace) I highly recommend. It was clean and all around fabulous! Smash burger Monday was a plus! Precarious for the win!

Horrible management, terrible service

Kirby Fields

Terrible service! We had a group of 15 to 20 people and they didn’t like that we were loud on a Monday afternoon. We were the only people there!

Chris Brown
