Very nice bar / restaurant.
Food was delicious and the drinks were good as well, would definitely recommend stopping by for a bite to eat or a full meal.
Will be back later for drinks!

Our reservation was at 2:30 pm which was at the end of the lunch period and there were only a few other diners at that time. It took around 50 minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive. I thought the wait was ridiculous since it was not busy. The waiter was great but did not offer an explanation regarding the delay.
Excellent Valentine's Day dinner with great wine pairings. Karen was an amazing server and attentive to our needs. Strongly recommend!
We have been celebrating special occasions at the Inn for over 50 years and we have always had a first class experience
The ambiance is exquisite -- fine dining at its best. The service was impeccable. At one point I had two different servers assisting me with my cocktail decision. My Miso Green Goddess Salmon was unique and delectable. The Vanilla Panna Cotta was worth every calorie! My son loved his Chicken Francaise. It was truly a wonderful dinner.
If you can get there when a seat is available, it's a marvelous and cozy place for a few cocktails and some yummy bar food!

We celebrated a milestone birthday at the Terrace and had a truly lovely experience. The food, ambiance, and service were all outstanding, and the staff went out of their way to add a thoughtful birthday touch that made the evening especially memorable. Highly recommended.
Our server Lily was amazing. Pleasant and efficient with the correct amount of attention. Very pleasing and enjoyable! The appearance of the room is beautiful. The wide doors to the bar area were open and the noise was not enjoyable when trying to have a conversation, along with the expected fine dining experience. The smaller walk-through section to the bar had a portion of the counter that could be lifted, and the same bar staff individual dropped it each and every time she entered. Incredibly rude and jarring. Food: My pork medallions were perfect. The brussel sprouts were too charred to be entirely pleasing. My husband's seafood pot pie was not hot enough but he didn't say anything as to reheat it would have probably made the seafood unappetizing. Overall the experience did not meet expectations, though Lily was a consistent delight. I don't think we would return.
This was our second visit to the Williamsburg Inn for dinner. It's been so enjoyable that we plan on dining there whenever we visit Colonial Williamsburg.

Had a lovely evening, great service and food - perfect after coming back from the fireworks
If you like to dine with dogs this is the place for you. The manager allowed a dog to sit with a customer even though the dog was not a service dog. My wife is allergic to dogs and it is a violation of Virginia law to allow a non-service dog in an indoor dining room. We promptly left.
A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. We noticed a marked improvement from previous visits, that the service was much more warm & gracious this time, as you should expect with afternoon tea, but had been lacking in previous visits.
One of the best breakfasts I've had in 73 years! The sweet potato “flapjacks” were incredible as was their real sausage and country ham. Their signature biscuit was also delicious! Very attentive staff especially Jerry.
Food was very disappointing. Grilled green tomatoes were cold and raw!, the dish did not work at all. The signature burger was chewy and the onion jam was too sweet and sickly.
