Yes. They do give you a lot of steak, but the taste is so bland. At least throw some Montreal seasoning on it. Folks think it's good now if you do that it's really gonna do well. I give it a 6.2 out of 10
Really good food, a little more than I usually spend, but you get alot for your money!

We’ve been coming to Rick’s for years. Their cheesesteak does Philly proud! Newly renovated and more spacious.

Was searching for good food while I was visiting Virginia for Busch Gardens and heard about how good the cheesesteaks were here on reddit and they did not disappoint. The few times I had tried cheesesteaks I was never that impressed but this place definitely won me over, good food and great value for what they give. Definitely worth a try if you are visiting Williamsburg.
Definitely has gone down. Was elated to stop by Rick’s since I was in town and was disappointed. The steak was dry and not flavorful at all. The crinkle cut fries were so good. My wife said the ruben was just ok
Seems like new owners was kind of disappointed ☹️

They could consider warming the rolls before adding the filling. Other than that, it was a very good cheesesteak at a reasonable price.

I'm writing this review as my fingers are still dripping with cheesesteak goodness. I left about a half hour ago, I stopped here to get lunch while on the road (got a pizza cheesesteak)... They claim to serve up some good Philly cheesesteak dupes (I grew up next to there and moved upstate PA where the food is mediocre).... well let me tell you, that sandwich I gobbled up was some glorious goodness. It was beyond delicious, and I haven't had a cheesesteak like that in about 15 years. Got the 8 inch, and it filled me up. Great price, and they definitely don't rip you off with how much they give you. My tummy is happy. You might want to consider setting up a shop in upstate PA, my family will keep you in business lol!

Great service with good advice on local attractions as well. Very clean resturant with a cool vibe. A must visit if you are in or near the area

Came here based on reviews. The actual cheese steaks were good. The problem however is that we came on Friday Night July 18th around 5:30 PM and the restaurant was EXTREMELY understaffed. We ordered right away & it took nearly 1 hour for our food to come out. Maybe that’s normal for the place? IDK - if so - maybe a heads up would’ve been suitable. I will say it made “Why drive to Philly” very tempting 😳😀. Then Half of the sandwiches were cooked wrong (wrong toppings, etc) AND came out cold (how after an hour wait??) and then the fries eventually came out about 10 minutes after the sandwiches. Was extremely disappointed in the overall experience.
