This was our first experience with Route 60 BBQ. We ordered 3lbs of brisket, mac and cheese, potato salad, collard greens, cornbread, and hush puppies for our Christmas Eve dinner. We are used to Texas brisket and Route 60 did not disappoint our Texas family! We thought everything was delicious (the collards could use a little something). We were very pleased with the food and price and will do it again!
So disappointed. Overpriced for bland food with small quantities. We swung by while we were in town because we had eaten here once before and remembered enjoying it. However, that was a huge mistake. It was the cashiers first day so it took a while to order but that wasn't a big deal. What was is the fact that she forgot to ring up a side order of beans. Instead of just chalking it up to a mistake and eating the cost (which I'm sure only cost 18¢ to make), another worker came by our table and demanded we pay for it. A $3 side order of beans. And honestly, they tasted like burnt garbage. So not worth it. Also, there was two tiny drops of sauce on our sandwiches and no staff around to ask for more (I'm assuming they were all in the kitchen). There is way better BBQ, at a better price, with nicer staff, and a management that doesn't nickel and dime you in Williamsburg. Just avoid.

We stopped for lunch while visiting historic Williamsburg and the food was good. The price was in line with other BBQ restaurants. Order at counter and food delivered to table. Brisket sandwich was pretty good with pickles and onion on side. The frys were waffle cut and were nice and crunchy. Overall not bad.
Vegetarian options: You could order sides.

The food was not that bad. The only issues I had were the brisket was a little dry and the greens were a little overcooked. The pulled chicken and Mac and cheese was really good though. Overall, the customer service was amazing and would definitely go back for a 2nd visit.

Well I did really like this place when they first opened. We have been several times. But yesterday will be my last visit there due to the food poisoning I got from either undercooked chicken or unwashed produce in my salad. Either way, we will not be going back anymore.

Stopped here for supper on the way back home to Richmond. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is homey. The service is friendly! The BBQ was very tender and tasted great. I only felt the side portions were a bit on the small side, and the drinks they give you are very small plastic one size cups.

I basically fell there today after a long day at the amusement park. The lady at reception was very nice and explained everything to us.
The food came quickly and was a dream for us meat lovers, very tasty.

Bit pricey for bland food. Chicken was not seasoned, yes it had sauce but the chicken could have been cooked with seasoning. The coleslaw made it halfway decent. The collards are drowned in vinegar. While I love collards cooked in vinegar it felt like eating hot pickle juice. Fries were good. They liked the mac n cheese. We probably will not re-visit.

You order at the front, and the food is brought to your table. We got the #1 package (brisket, mac & cheese, fries), which was just barely enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The brisket was very good - very tender, good sauce, but quite fatty. The mac & cheese was very creamy but needed a bit more seasoning, and the waffle fries were also very good. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and would come back.

Very clean, and pleasant atmosphere, staff is helpful and friendly. The food is the real star. I had the brisket but I'll be back to try everything, because the brisket was perfect. Tender, smoky and flavorful
