Shorty's Diner is an awesome little, unpretentious place with friendly people and really good food. The fish sandwich is a star dish, fresh, crispy, and flaky. The clam chowder is thick and delicious. The breakfast is excellent, with great pancakes and a loaded veggie omelet. Portions are large and very tasty. Service is top-notch, and the nostalgic vibe of the diner adds to the experience. Highly recommended for a visit before 2pm.
