"In for a treat" is what we were told walking to the entrance. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth. The staff's friendly demeanor wasn't just surface-level politeness – it felt authentic and welcoming, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The service maintained that same friendly quality throughout the meal. The server was attentive without being intrusive, and her recommendations showed she truly knew and cared about the menu. It's refreshing to find a place where the staff seems genuinely happy to be there. As for the food, it delivered on the promise of that warm greeting. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, hitting that sweet spot of comfort and quality that makes for a memorable dining experience. Nothing felt rushed or carelessly prepared – you could taste the attention to detail in every bite. What stood out most was how the combination of excellent service and good food created an atmosphere where you actually want to linger and enjoy the experience. In a world of rushed dining and impersonal service, this restaurant reminded me why going out to eat can be such a pleasure when done right. I'll definitely be returning, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place that treats both their food and their guests with genuine care. (also the biscuits & pancakes - the best I've had)

Very nice cozy place where they made you feel welcome! Food was delicious and a good serving. Bacon was a bit disappointing but still tasty. Would definitely recommend! Wonderful people!

Had a delicious breakfast in this clean bright restaurant! Welcoming staff and even a Senior option on the menu. Delicious waffles with warm syrup!

In a lot of pancake shops, Southern is the only one that does pancakes right. The rest make them fluffy and an inch tall. The staff are friendly and efficient.

We went for breakfast today and the food was really good and the staff was very nice. Would definitely go back.

If you are looking for a traditional really good breakfast place, this is it. This is my first time here. The grits, eggs and pancake were amazing. My husband got a burger and it was very good! Highly recommend.

I have been to Williamsburg, VA often and never visited this restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise, service is awesome, efficient, and friendly. The food is delicious!! This is my new breakfast place when I am on vacation in Williamsburg..

AWESOME experience today at Pancake and Waffle House. We had such a welcoming greeting and our server Lamont was phenomenal. Our food was scrumptious!! I had the salmon cakes and my husband had the chicken and waffles…DELICIOUS!! Wonderful birthday breakfast for my husband Thank you all so much! May God continue to bless your establishment; We will be back!!

Big piece of foil in the omlette. Server apologized. Biscuits microwaved. Omlettes had little cheese or taste. Potatoes had no seasoning. The grits were room temperature. Coffee was weak. The waitress was nice. No discount offered for trash found in food. We won't be back.

Everything was great but the quality and quantity of the food wasn't that great. $20 for chicken and waffles and the tenders looked like nuggets and only half a waffle. $15 for French toast said 6 pieces on the receipt but only got 3 slices so that was confusing. And all the sides are add ons.
$3 for mid coffee is wild.

Never again!! The food is more Northern than Southern. Loved the staff though. But the FOOD was BLAND!
