My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. The decor is tastefully done, very Indian, but not over the top. I got the Madras Curry with lamb, spice level 3, and it was fabulous. Lots of lamb, and the most tender, delicious lamb I've ever eaten. Spice level 3 was plenty for me! Wife had the Palak Paneer, a generous serving that was delicious. The lady who waited on us was very gracious and appreciated our compliments! Next time we're in Williamsburg we're going back.

This was my second time eating Indian food, and first time here! I’m a super picky eater, and the butter chicken was fantastic!!! We did the lunch special and I totally didn’t realize how much came with it. I’m personally stuffed and I think it was the perfect portion of everything. I think if you’re weary about what to eat the lunch is perfect. I also suggest the cheese naan. You have to order that separate it’s a Kolchi (I think that’s what it is), but is amazing. I will certainly come here again. Wait staff is great. Very nice, and the food is fresh made to order. 10/10 would come again and recommend.

I normally don’t write reviews on restaurants but this restaurant definitely needs one. This is by far the worst South Indian restaurant I have come across in my 10 years of life in North America! I am not exaggerating! We ordered Ghobi Manchurian, chicken Manchurian, Tomato soup to begin with. Tomato soup was very salty and didn’t taste like a soup. Chef definitely needs to be trained on how to cook Manchurian dishes!! But we just don’t wanted to judge based on these items and ordered mysore masala Dosa and Idli vada and that’s when I decided to write a review because people work hard to make money and this place is definitely not worth a visit. Vada was very hard to cgew and tasteless, Idli and Sambar were ok but a roadside restaurant in India can do better than this. We make Dosa pretty much every weekend and trust me making dosa is one of the easiest one, I reject to acknowledge anyone as South Indian chef if he/she can’t even make a dosa!!. Sorry, we don’t have a South Indian restaurant in Williamsburg but I have visited other two Indian restaurants in the town and they are definitely worth your money.

Went there after a long time. Food was not good. Appetizer came out even before the drinks. We had to remind them that my husband didn't get his beer. I ordered masala dosa. Definitely it was not made with fermented dosa batter. Nan got to our table before the chicken vidaloo with rice and was sitting there getting cold. Vindaloo didn't taste anything like vindaloo.The young man serving the table has to be told by the owner not to keep flipping his hair a hundred times. Not a pleasant sight when costumers are eating.

Called to place a takeout order, put on hold, left on hold for 15+ minutes. But I left the hotel at the same time I called. I got there and placed my order. They just didn't want to take my order on the phone since it was 2:05 PM. When I arrived they weren't busy at all. Just didn't like that. Never picked up my call, hung up as I received my takeout order. Nice once I was there, and food was good.

Used doordash to get food delivered from this restaurant. The sambar boxed were so films that it broke and spilled. The first time, it was so bad the order was canceled. The second it happened again. We ordered masala dosa, the sambar was bland with no taste, the dosa crepe was too sour and then the masala was actually sent in a miniscule container. It was very less and very greasy. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

I had a delightful lunch at Spice Palace Indian Restaurant. From the greeting at the door to the warm farewell, it couldn't have been better. I have a medical condition that complicates my diet, but that was no problem for the folks at Spice Palace. My Mini Buffet meal (I got the Paneer Tikka Masala, Channa Masala, Butter Naan, Basmati Rice, and Mango Fruit Custard) was prepared specifically to my needs, with smiles in place of the frowns I often receive at my requests. It was delicious. I could have asked for refills, but the original portions were more than I could finish. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
