Expecting more of a sports bar we were from out of the area at restaurant to watch a basketball game. Had great wings. Server seemed to want to rush us through our meal after making it clear we wanted to watch the game and there were still open tables.

Why does the website say you only honor happy hour drinks pricing for 1 drink? Do you expect your customers to only drink one drink during 4 hours of happy hour?

I personally do not understand this place… the food was not terrible but the service was. If you are not a regular it seems you won’t get good service. This could be because the two times I went we got the same guy. I don’t remember his name. But both times I had to ask for our drinks multiple times even though the place was not busy. I had a burger which was cold by the time we got our food. The waiter was always away talking to the same patron every time we were waiting for all of our order and drinks. I had to ask another waitress for the check for again he was no where to be found. I will not be going here again because of the service I had twice. I would not trust all these 5 star reviews because of this.

Overall, it was a great experience with friendly service and a fun sports bar atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: With a larger family, it took a few minutes to get a table, but it was not bad. Food came out quick.

Went there on a Saturday. The waitress was very, very slow. We sat for over 10 minutes s before getting drinks, another 10 to order, and everything we wanted they were out of the waitress said. Had a line waiting and empty tables were everywhere, so why the long line. Who knows?? Use to be a great place clean ,but food was awful I order fish and it was cold couldn't even eat it daughter ordered shrimp and she said it tasted like a box frozen shrimp didn't eat it either order appetizer mozzarella sticks they were mushy in the middle and cold nasty. Would not go back maybe when they get some real cooks in there.

Tables around us that came in an hour after we did got their food and left before we even got our food. My burger was bland. The wings we ordered were less than desirable. Drinks were weak. How is a beer from the tap tasting old? It was our groups first time there and will be our last. Just not impressed at all. Atmosphere gets the stars it deserves for the cool sports memorabilia.

I was seated quickly, which is nice, but it was at a table for 4 as a single person. That seems like a waste, even when there were smaller tables.
There was a lady shuffling around who I assumed was the manager, but I couldn't tell.
The waitress was prompt and friendly.
The menu was not the biggest selection, and it was also just a couple of dollars over priced on all the items.
I ordered the only steak that was available, the ribeye. It was not the best. It was thinner than expected and very fatty. Fires were okay.

Food is straight off the Sysco truck. Bring a book for the extremely long wait time to get your drinks, food, and check.

It was too loud, not enough room, and they said they didn't have enough crabs for their nightly AYCE crablegs by 6:30 PM. We left. I doubt I'll return.

The waitress service was fabulous, however we walked in at nine and they were already talking about the kitchen might be closed. They closed at 10:100.

Great staff. The cheese fries were amazing. The club sandwich was on point. The fish on the fish and chips was average. The atmosphere was tarnished by the entitled people that sat at the table beside us. We both felt sorry for the staff dealing with them.

It's always been a mid experience for us. Sometimes the service is good, other times nope. Same with the food. Hit or miss in every department, not the most consistent.
I'll tell you though, their Mac and cheese bowl with grilled chicken is the one thing that has been consistently yum! Get it.

Just stopped in for a drink. The beer was cold (perhaps a bit too cold) decent wine selection and very reasonable. Nice sports bar feel and attended server. In an area of overprice places this place is a find.

My wife and I had a hankering for American fare tonight after leaving Busch Gardens. We found Sportsman on Google Maps. Upon arrival we realized that we had dined here about four years ago after another long day at Busch Gardens. Our memory of Sportsmans Grille was very positive, so we were optimistic.

It took a long while to get someone to take our drink order, but after 10 minutes or so it happened. My wife decided on a medium rare rib eye steak with french fries and a salad. The air was thick with the smell of snow crab legs…Friday night is all you can eat…but I decided $42.99 was too rich for my blood, so I opted for the New Orleans salmon with shrimp on top, white cheddar mac n’ cheese and a salad.

Thankfully we didn’t wait too long for our food.

My salmon and shrimp were heavily seasoned, maybe overcooked a little bit but still acceptable. The mac n’ cheese was a reasonable portion, but also a little overcooked. Both of our salads were small and very basic—one ring of green pepper, two cherry tomatoes and one or two rings of cucumber on a small bed of iceberg lettuce.

Unfortunately my wife who really hoped for a good steak and fries found her meal coming up short. The rib eye was barely more than a half inch thick, so the cook would have to be superb to achieve medium rare. The end result was an overcooked and under flavored steak accompanied by a barely warm order of fries.

No, we didn’t bother sending anything back because it was late and we were ready to call it a day. So unfortunately this second visit to Sportsmans Grille was much less favorable than our first time.
