My sister and I have a tradition of getting a coffee on Xmas Eve. We were traveling from NC and realized that we needed to get our coffee when we got to VA. I get that it was Christmas Eve, we came in during the last hour so the workers were probably ready to go home. But the customer service was not there for me. They didn’t even greet us when we came in and one of the workers gave me a fake smirk when I spoke to her first. When I spoke to another worker she barely even spoke. Not thrilled with this visit.

This issue is not unique to this location, but more a broader Starbucks issue. Waited 25 minutes for two drinks (an Americano and an iced Chai)...watched the counter consistently full of mobile orders sitting there waiting for customers to arrive amd pick them up. Meanwhile, 12 customers who ordered in the store are standing around waiting. Between the drive thru, mobile ordering, and in store ordering your staff cannot keep up. I don't blame them at all - they're doing the best they can, and all appeared to be gainfully occupied. This is purely a corporate, and I would also say franchise management issue. You have the ability to disable mobile orders, you don't though because you are afraid of losing mobile customers. I get it, but you, and Starbucks writ large, should just embrace it and eliminate in store ordering altogether. You know that once a customer pays in store you have them hostage until their drink arrives, meanwhile, your online POS continues to accept mobile orders. At least train staff to prioritize in store orders given that there were 15 mobile orders sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes.

This particular Starbucks should be avoided. They advertise 4am, but frequently open late and have poor service. They left my wife and I in the cold waiting to open after telling us to wait 15 minutes. It's been 30 and we are still waiting. Avoid this Starbucks.

This location is absolutely awful. You get in line and wait 30 minutes just to order. Once at the window the staff ignore you!! Worst service ever!! Never go back to this location!!
