Visiting from out of town and found this gem of a restaurant! Wonderful food - flavorful and authentic! Our server Amanda was fantastic too! Thank you!

Very good food sand service. Not fancy, more like a diner, but comfortable.

Ordered the fajitas for two special for $24.99 to go. I couldn't believe how generous the servings were and to get beef, chicken and shrimp for this price is unbeatable. The taste and quality were outstanding. The small restaurant is located in a shopping strip and was packed. This restaurant needs to be in a space with at least 2 times its' current capacity. The staff kept me in the loop on my order status while I was waiting.

Muy autentico. Some of the best tacos and pozole I have had on the east coast. Ever.

I'm from Arizona. This is the best-tasting, most authentic Mexican food I've eaten in Virginia. Our server, Amanda, was super friendly and the food was amazing! My girls think this is the best horchata they've ever had. My youngest doesn't usually enjoy Mexican food, but she loved it here. The birria tacos were fabulous. We finished with the churro donuts. Wow! They were so light and delicious! I'd give them 6 stars if we could.

Oh my goodness. I have had some wonderful Mexican food in the southwest US, and this place was at or above all of them. Food was wonderful, service was outstanding (Lupita was awesome). Margaritas (jalapeno) was on point. I wish I had taken pictures of the food but it was too damn good to wait on for a picture. Came here after spending the day at Great Wolf lodge, you can't beat it.

EXCELLENT food and margaritas!! We were in town for the Great Wolf Lodge and devoted to try this placed based on reviews. We were not disappointed. I don't know the names of the dishes but everyone raved about how good it was. It was so good we are planning a motorcycle trip up in the summer, just to eat here again.

This restaurant was an unexpected find. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the fresh guacamole. The servers were friendly and prompt and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is nice and colorful. It's informal is the only reason for the 4 star vs 5 star on atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite places in town. The staff is friendly, the food is the best quality, and the prices are silly cheap. The best tamales in the state. The Cochinita Pibil is also phenomenal. If you are more adventurous, the octopus or beef tongue tacos will reward you. I'm a big guy, and I regularly leave here with a $12 bill and a full stomach.

Nothing special. Rice was cooked well.Chips and salsa were pleasing for these hungry people. When it came to the $4 tamal, not worth it. It was salty and had a mole sauce- that should be advertised...Drinks were not strong ,watered down.
