Hands down the absolute best thai cuisine in S.E. Virginia. My wife and I have dined here several times over the past few years and if we were not moving across the country we would definitely return. The owners are wonderful and always knew what our favorite dishes were. 5☆'s

Kingsmill roll is top notch. Best sushi place we have tried in the area. My wife and I make it our mission to try all the sushi in a new city. We've had sushi at 5 different restaurants in Newport News and the drive here is worth it hands down. Fresh ingredients. Weve been here about 8 times. Always great service and food.

Good food, tiger steak was great, chicken satay peanut sauce was too spicy and did not taste close to the sauce I am used to. Waiter came to the table alot, grabbed the plates before I was done with them and tried to get the check which was way away from the end of the table. Energy like that can be spent having a conversation with me.

One of the best sushi places I've tried.

Our experience overall was ok, however, Our bill was really high and %20 tip is required not optional based on the check I received. (I would not probably go there again)

Best Thai food in the Williamsburg area. Good menu, great prices, amazing service. The curry dishes we had were very flavorful as only Thai food can be. The special sauce for the pot stickers was surprisingly good and unique. Try it, you won't be disappointed. We will be in back.

The food and service were impeccable! We ordered the wonton soup and it had the most flavorful broth. The Panang curry was delicious with the added addition of the chicken. Lastly.
The lemon drop and old fashioned were both tasty and smooth!

everytime I'm out of city (i'm foodie and also chef from philly btw...very picky).
I'm kinda scared to get dissapointed by google or yelp review
sometimes thai resto already infuse with chinese or americanize
whether is too sweet or taste bland or they don't use fresh ingredients.
we just got back from BuschGarden park and hungry.
there's so many choices
but we chose to go to Tara thai.
and it was 8:50 pm
basically last minute customer.
they close 9:30 but I guess the kitchen close 9-9:15 ish
my son got sushi
me and hubby got thai thai Chicken wings (I love the sauce),tom yums is good
basil stir fry we asked for spicy thai spicy didn't dissapoint.
I loved it!
beef green curry is delicious!
mango sticky rice came with huge plate
but the mango is sweet and the rice is yummy
our waittress also sweet
no complaint here
the place is pretty busy for monday night
