I've been a regular here for 5 years now. But don't go inside to order. Any student who orders from GrubHub while you're waiting in line will be the priority and skip you. 12 GrubHub orders skipped me after I ordered and waited in line, and my order wasn't even correct.

It took an hour to receive my bagel sandwich. Not only that, but my egg was EXTREMELY undercooked (the whites were running everywhere) and the inside of my sausage was raw. It was a complete waste of my time and money.

The food is good, the bagels are very good, and the staff was super nice. But they are clearly understaffed. We waited 30 minutes for a bagel and a breakfast sandwich. By the time we got our food, one of our drinks was cold. I'd recommend this spot if you have a relaxed morning. Wouldn't recommend it if you have to be somewhere like work.

The Bake Shop doesn’t play around! The Lamplighter espresso was great, the drip from Color Wheel was fantastic, and the bagel is worth the price! Glad there is a specialty place in Williamsburg finally.
EDIT— Unfortunately the last few times I’ve been the food hasn’t been as good and the coffee program has dramatically gone downhill. Not sure why but hopefully it’s fixed soon. I’ll change my review back because I know how this effects small businesses if the next couple times are back to the way I remember 🥲
