Came here while staying at the lodge. Kid friendly, cool environment. Love a place that uses antlers in its decorating. When I sat down the guy next to me had the special, Osso Bucco. It looked and smelled delicious. I ordered but but alas he got the last one.
Would recommend this place as great alternative to the food options at the lodge.

Food is great and reasonably priced for what you get. A great option when you don't want to eat the food at Great Wolf Lodge especially since they are walking distance.

I'm really surprised by the glowing reviews. Given the name, we went there in hopes of actually eating some elk, moose or venison. When I inquired about the three game sausage, the waitress couldn't tell me without checking with the kitchen which animals comprised the trio. It didn't matter really. They tasted pretty much the same except for the degree of spiciness.
The whole place looked dirty. Nobody has dusted the trophy heads festooning the walls in years, and the water in the huge cylindrical fish tank looked like it came from a superfund site, cloudy and toxic. Needless to say, there were no aquatic creatures to be seen therein.
The service was fine, I suppose. The night we were there, the place was practically empty, so not a great challenge.

I am at my second visit. These prices are amazing. I had a 20 once beer for less than $6. The first night I has the soup of the day which was a clam chowder. I live in a seafood capitol and it matches or exceeds what I get there. The frog legs are perfectly cooked and the slaw with an Asian sauce was great. I could eat a plateful of that alone.The elk burger is unbelievable. I hope to visit a few more times before I leave. The costs are much less than what I expected to pay. Oh yeah,,,, the fries and onion rings are the best!!!.

While waiting for check in at Great Wolf Lodge we decided to grab lunch at this super convenient location nearby. The atmosphere definitely matched the namesake as the inside resembles a hunting lodge.

The service by our server was polite, quick, and efficient.

I ordered the elk burger with fries and a local brew which was absolutely phenomenal, while my wife ordered a Cesar salad, and the kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries.

Overall a great place to snag a quick lunch and a great place to save money and get a better quality of food than what GWL had to offer.

Uses absolutely no seasoning , not even on the steak (NY strip). Very limited menu, that was a single piece of folded paper. Family said the elk burger was good. Just not a place for a me. Place was pretty much empty, so service didn't take long.

Their “Old Fashioned” is terrible. They use Copper Fox Rye and it’s not good. The food, not so great. Th steak was said to be market price” which was apparently $35. NY Strip was not memorable in any way other than how bad it was. My sons had “Chicken Strips” which were more like flat disks of fried chicken which was odd and they said they didn’t taste good either. The only thing I could appreciate was the service, the waitress was fast and friendly. I would NOT recommend this place because in the end it’s about the food.

Please give the fish tank some love. It’s pretty depressing seeing brown coral and all of the fish that are subjected to it every day. Someone needs to hire someone or spend some time adding a nice living environment if you’re going to keep all of those fish.

Positive dining experience while visiting Williamsburg area. An interesting menu keeps things interesting. Many good choices and the peach cobbler was amazing.

They hit a home run every time. We arrived 30 min before closing. Party of 5. Scallops, BBQ chicken, pasta, elk burger, clam chowder, all perfect! Service was excellent. Can’t say enough. Just fantastic!
