We had the best dinner at the Jefferson tonight! It was our first night in Williamsburg, and we felt so welcomed! It’s a family owned restaurant, and they made us feel like part of the family! I had the “Virginia Surf and Turf”, which was Virginia ham and a crab cake, along with a salad with (homemade!) blue cheese dressing and tomato bisque. Oh my goodness! This place is a hidden treasure. We didn’t know what to expect, but so glad we stopped in. We started our meal with the Hot Crab Fifi a la Crème. Crab cake with a three-cheese sauce on top? Amazing. We then had the peanut soup. It was our first peanut soup, no nothing to compare it to, but so good!
