We first passed by this restaurant on our way to the hotel, and we immediately knew we would go to eat there. The very architecture of that little place was so inviting! And the experience did not disappoint. The waitresses dressed in the waiting staff uniforms of that time, various things, like little sculptures and drawings that portray Jefferson's time - it was very nice. Wonderful restaurant! Our server Brittany was fantastic!! We ordered fried chicken and rib combo. My husband said it was delicious and seasoned well. I had seafood platter with crab cake appetizer, so creamy and hot. The meal was served w hot roll and butter. The atmosphere is very pleasant not loud at all. Nice friendly owner too! 👍\nWe were in town for 2 days but will return on next visit.
This place is charming. The service was fun and friendly. We went in with not the highest expectations. As there were only 3 of us, we didn't get the chance to try many of the food options, but the menu offers something for everyone. Is the decor outdated? Yes.
