My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The Terrace room is pretty fancy and definitely high end. The food is quite good but very pricy. The service is very good as well. My wife has a lot of dietary restrictions so the waitress has to be patient to get the order in and ourw was. Thought the food is quite good, I am not sure it justfies the high price. No real complaints though other than the steep bill.
Stephen is a fabulous server, but all the extra helpers are so professional. The room gives a long ago upper class feeling that is just special.
Our server was amazing went above and beyond... but the food needs flavor we had to add salt to everything to give it even some taste but atmosphere and service was on point
With the Rockefeller Room closed indefinitely, the Williamsburg Inn struggles to define what type of hotel that they want to be. This is no longer a five star hotel and having the normal breakfast room as your main dining room underscores this indecision. The food was average. Friend green tomatoes had no flavor even though they added a variety of spices. My rainbow trout obviously had just been frozen and had no flavor either. This is a shame that such a majestic hotel with a long history of serving incredible food has been relegated to a subpar dinner dining experience. Of note, the Terraces sits right next to the bar and any traffic and noise permeates through the room. I would not recommend eating here for dinner.
Beautiful surroundings highly professional service. Wonderful food as good to look at as to eat. Menu had disappearing changed from price fixe to a la carte in the few days before our reservation but the entire experience more than made up for that.
The service was superior. They made us feel like a million bucks on our anniversary. At least three staff members knew what year we were celebrating and wished us well.
The Terrace Room provide myself and friends with an elegant lunch where we were able to have good conversation.
We had a reservation and was told We had a 35 minute wait because they had walk in's. What good is a reservation if the let walk ins go ahead Of you
Our party of 4 was very disappointed in every aspect of our dining experience. Our food was cold and one dish was inedible. We had to wait for over an hour for our food, with very little contact with our server. Overall experience was a 0 out of 10. Would not recommend.
My husband and I dined on Friday night, we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We wnt tp the restaurant on the Tuesday prior to discuss the seating as we intended to dress in 18th Century clothing. My gown is very wide and I wanted to make sure we would fit. We were told it would not be a problem. On arrival they tried to seat me next to a wall! Clearly there was no communication. Our meal and the service once we were seated was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will return again when we are next in town. (We are from Canada)

Food was excellent, service was impeccable, and atmosphere was wonderful. We will be back over the next several years.
Fantastic Autumn High tea menu with seasonal favorite flavors. Exceptional service. Wonderful ambiance with a woman laying Irish Harp music live perfected the experience. Will definitely take tea in the future.
Wonderful ambiance. Attentive service but a bit of a delay for drink service. Salmon and burger entrees delicious.
It was just basic afternoon tea experiences for us. No other choices of finger sandwiches, scones, even teas. It was just ok. To be honest, I was quite disappointed!
Pricy but a wonderful experience. Many, many tasty treats and loved that there was bubbly. It would have been nice to have a few less sweets and a few more savory. There was even a harpist playing mellow music.
