We were only in Williamsburg for 2 days, we wanted some real seafood and after looking over the menu we knew we needed to eat at the Whaling Company. We had the peel and eat shrimp, which came with butter wow usually we have to ask, they were great. My wife got the stuffed flounder and I got the baked tilapia, they were both delicious and to top it off the Caramel pie. Our server Eddie was on top of everything and made the meal more enjoyable. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

We had our company Christmas party at the Whaling Company in their private dining room. Good times were had by all! We really appreciate all of the staff involved in helping make the night a success.. especially Eddie, Amber, Chandler, Victoria and Lisa!! Thank you all for all of your hard work and your good vibes! Especially Amber coming in and dancing with us! The food was great and I really appreciate all of the Christmas decorations. If I could do it again, I would have made it start earlier so we could have had more fun. Thanks again!

Consistent for over 30 years.... We always eat here when we are in Williamsburg and seafood is great. We've had salmon, crabcakes, tilapia, and one member of our family always has the New York strip which he says is the best he's ever had!! Tonight we went for dinner and Destiny was our server she was absolutely tops, professional, kind and efficient ....a great experience ... Such we highly highly recommend The Whaling company. !!! Desserts are also top-notch!

My filet minion steak was not even Luke warm, but room temperature. I ordered it medium rare, like I always do but the outside had a slight char, and inside was what I can assume as raw, chewy, the fat had not even rendered, and was a bad experience. Im not one to complain to staff, especially since our waiter was very kind and quick. Food was not hitting par but the staff is very helpful.
