Made reservations for 8:30 Christmas Eve, big mistake, they were not prepared for late reservations, If you are charging $60 per person for a Christmas Buffett, have someone monitor the Buffett so it is fresh for all patrons. Many selections were cold or slightly warm, lids were kept open by patrons for serving dishes. Ran out of a couple deserts, server went in back to inquire, they were out, assuming Earlier reservations got the best. Soup was watered down and cold, salads had no taste really, Coffee was very weak. Service was excellent. Sadly they charged $3.20 service charge for 2 glasses of wine plus tax. Although disappointing, we still tipped our server. Atmosphere was okay, we were seated at a table by the door into dining room. Thought it would be better.

It’s a hotel buffet, nothing less, nothing more. The “pay for a reservation” feels like a trick to make it feel fancier. I felt obligated to eat the $60 of food that the reservation cost, you want fancy and good food try second street bistro.

Though we had reservations it was still a30 to 40 minute wait time. Our server was not very good. She spilled a glass of water on our table and said she would be right back to clean it up. We were halfway thru the meal before she finally wiped it up. She totally forgot our bread and delivered it five minutes before we left. Our glasses of water and soda were left empty through out most of the meal. She said she would bring me a set of clean eating utensils but never did. She was very chatty and attentive to the tables around us (all who had rooms at the lodge as we loudly overheard their drinks being charged to their rooms). It is an experience I will never recommend to anybody and seriously doubt if we will return...... for the price totally not worth it!

Food was ok but not great. Our server was overwhelmed by how busy it was so not very attentive. Vegetable selection was very limited and too gourmet. My wife who has a gluten issue was extremely limited as to food choices. I doubt we'll be partaking next Christmas.

We came to Traditions for our Christmas Day dinner. It was $350 for four adults and an all you can eat buffet style. The waitress was very nice but had too many tables - the drink orders, refills, bread runs, bussing tables, and questions from her area was just too much. She gave it a solid effort and kept a cheerful attitude, though. The guys helping behind the buffet were all polite and helpful, too. The food buffet was kept warm and containers were kept full. That said, it wasn't anything particularly good - especially for the price. We would consider going back if the price was half of what it was but there are much better restaurants in the same price bracket in the area.

Staff was amazing! Went for Christmas Day and was so thankful a place was open for dinner this day! The staff was so attentive and hard working and were very very kind! Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful Christmas Day dinner enjoyed ❤️

Sadly having a late reservation was not a benefit, some of the food was cold, others tasted like it had been there too long and they ran out of some deserts. We were seated right at an entrance to the dining room, assigned seating I assume, We ordered a glass of wine and didn't realize the tip (noted service charge) was included, we still tipped our server additional as it was not her fault, she was amazing. Coffee was very weak and not overly hot. Granted t was Christmas Eve and busy, but when you offer a buffet you should prepare for each guest to be the first guest. Their signature Bread Pudding was the bomb, the cabernet delicious.

Seemed like a limited # of options at brunch buffet for price. Only a few tables at 1pm on a Sunday so you would think more check ins but only checked on a couple of times.

Reservations for 1pm. Sat at 1pm. Ordered a few minutes later. At 1:25 asked about status of order. Waiter indicated kitchen said 8 minutes."

Talked to manager at 1:40pm. She indicated that the conference let out at the same time, lunch would be on the house, and she would check on the status of the food.

Food arrived at 1:42pm.

Manager blamed the # of people at the conference and open table. Did not seem to accept management can reduce the # of reservations... frustrating.

Had a 2pm conference around the corner.

Recommendation to management: reduce the # of reservations to a level where the kitchen can support a reasonable service time. Alternatively, hire more kitchen staff.

Since manager didn't accept the recommendation... perhaps the owner would consider it.

Manager did handle the situation politely.

The food was delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. I can only give 3 stars because we specifically chose this restaurant due to food allergies in our group. The menu is marked with DF, GF, and V however the sandwich we ordered that was specifically indicated to be DF had dairy ingredients on it (avocado lime aioli). We always mention the dairy allergy, and ordered it without the aioli, the server was knowledgeable of the ingredients, but our DF child still had an allergic reaction. If your allergy is severe this might not be the place for you.

Ok, I prepaid for a July 4th dinner for (2) $90 odd dollars. There was nothing there! The Mac n cheese was ok my husband said. The brisket had beans on top, the barbecue chicken had succotash on top?? They had a little Caesar salad and fruit salad, green beans! The dessert section was extremely lacking , little petit store bought items that you needed to eat ten to make it worth while. I learned my lesson, never again! The staff however were very friendly and attentive.

Place was very confusing to find.
Service was amazing and they were quick with our food. Food was good, but pancakes for overdone on the bottom.

The offering was presented as a 4th of July Summer Picnic Buffett with traditional summer dishes. Many of the serving dishes being empty or near empty. The kitchen staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up with demand as people stood in line waiting. The food was uninspiring, and didn't live up to expectations for the price ($50/person). The BBQ was bone-in thighs and legs, didn't seem to have come near a BBQ. The brisket was served with baked-beans and appears to have be designed to be mostly beans and little brisket. It seemed to be setup in a way to ensure lower cost to the restaurant. The potatoe salad was watery and the potatoes hard. Desserts were convention-meeting-like in nature and they ran out of some of the advertised desserts. Since the reservation was established as prepaid and they took a preemptive 20% tip on a buffet service, I suppose I should have suspected this would disappoint, as they likely assessed any post meal tip would have been in jeopardy. That said, the reservations should have given the restaurant the information they needed to be prepared and not run out of food. No plan to return
