Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Very disappointed in my smoothies. For an almost $10 smoothie, I expect it to be flavorful. This is the third time in the last few months that I have gone to this location and my smoothie has been almost tasteless and had a lot of ice chunks. I’m not sure if the recipes have changed or what but I’m going to try a different location and hope to have a different experience.

Typically i love going to this establishment but the last two visits have been horrible. Between the lack of respect and accountability from the employees to then blaming the day to day poor practices on their general manager Kaavya who just happens not to be on site is a bit ridiculous. Kaavya i hope your employees are misinformed or misunderstood because this is just unprofessional at this point. If you can avoid this particular location i would.

The workers, Matt and Lena, were awesome! Matt was able to guide me in the right direction for a wonderful smoothie flavor. Lena was kind, courteous and a wonderful listener.

There chia oatmeal pudding with strawberries is deliciously nutritious and the peanut butter cup smoothie with strawberries is next level

I like trying the different flavors, add in the greens. Wow what a color 😃. Santa Fe Chicken Dilla, tasty as a snack 😋. Not enough for a meal. The burrito wraps are better. Still is a nice treat when in the area.

Food came out fast and the smoothies were great. There were a few small mixups with the food, but the employees were very friendly and helpful.

this has been my worst experience at tropical smoothie, I got two meals with two quesadillas and BOTH of them had hair in them. I would understand if only one quesadilla would have a hair in it because hair does fall out and you can’t control that but when both of your items have hair in them it’s a cause for concern. Now I’m worried the smoothie that came with the order also has hair in it! I’ll be sticking to the Monticello trop

Questionable hygiene practices here. The girl making my smoothie had a soiled shirt on. Pretty horrific to the point I’d write a review. And of course she didn’t make the smoothie well like what you’d expect. I guess go to the Monticello location.

Service isn’t great, no one really cares about you

My family and I really enjoyed our smoothies, but the employees are working in terrible conditions. The cashier said that the AC has been out for two weeks and it has been 100+ degrees outside. This is terrible working conditions for the employees. TSC you have to do better! This is unacceptable to allow your employees to work in these harsh conditions. The HVAC needed to be replaced within the next day. 2 weeks is absolutely unacceptable and something must be done for the sake of these hardworking employees.

Been waiting here for 40 minutes and our food still isn't here, not to mention that 20 people came in after we ordered and got their food before us!

Update 1: 50 minutes and got our drinks, my brother's cup is leaking from the bottom of his cup! ?

Update 2: took us 1 hour to get our food. I don't see the original owner, the Indian family here must have bought out this place.

This is a struggling location. They aren't making to recipes. We found it in our smoothie but the language barrier makes it improbable to correct. Another gentleman ahead of us ordered a quesadilla. He questioned that it looked like a burrito and the manager said it's the same thing, I just made it round. This is one you should avoid for sure.

I usually love this location but ever since the old manager hasn’t been there, the smoothies have been so off. Unblended, icy, watery, like there isn’t enough fruit or juices. The food quality has also been lacking. Either drowning in sauce or cold. For almost $8 a smoothie after tax I hope this improves soon!

Gerard is one of the best waiters out there. He is nice and real cool. Recommend coming here!
