Friendly, very thorough, and excellent mac and cheese

We had our annual family reunion in Williamsburg Va and wanted some great seafood. Uncle Russ did not disappoint. Service from his staff was excellent. He also offered my dad a military discount for his service to our country. Fried fish, scallops, and crab cakes were excellent. I highly recommend Uncle Russ Dockside Seafood. See you next year Uncle Russ!!

Awesome fried shrimp and hush puppies. Really fresh and seasoned. My daughter's split an order and they finished it. Fantastic place and nice folks

Oh my gawd! The food is so good. Seafood is fresh. I watched a woman buy clams and they went through and picked out the bag ones. My local seafood shop back home doesn't do that. I had a huge lunch of scallops, gator, clams, catfish, and crab balls. I ate myself into a coma, it was so good. Make sure you try the fries. They are battered and seasoned in Russ's batter, not some taste that doesn't fit. I also bought some of their homemade sausage. I have to update on that later. For what I got, their prices are too low. I love this place! I'll be there when I'm back in Williamsburg.

I 5:06 I called and ask if you had inside sitting and told you guys I was otw. Note online says you close at 7. I get here at 5:22 you are closed

Amazing seafood!

A pleasant vibe mixed with local knowledge of seafood availability. I get the idea that the owner has his thumb on the pulse of the Chesapeake Bay year-round.

Very accommodating and easy to order. Great first experience!! Can't wait to get home and eat!!

There is only one place to go for fresh seafood, Uncle Russ is the BEST!

We were on vacation in Williamsburg at a nearby resort, stumbled upon Uncle Russ's, and ended up going there three days in a row. Excellent fried seafood, especially the shrimp and oysters. French fries are battered, which was new to me but tasty. Had a large seafood boil the last day that we ended up eating on for three meals. Highly recommended for takeout seafood that's better than what you'd get at local restaurants for twice the price. Friendly and fast service.

I was greeted with a great big, beautiful smile and friendly service from Kaiya ? ?! She was super friendly, helpful and knew her thing!? Also, I had the pleasure of meeting “Uncle Russ” ??? and he was super nice and friendly too! The entire staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful!

The restaurant was super clean and filled with good delicious seafood aromas. The prices were great and the foods were cooked to perfection!????? Our family enjoyed every bite!!

we had steamed shrimp {chilled, with their recommended house seasoning}, oysters on the half shell, scallops, hush puppies, and cuke salad.

the ONLY complaint i had was that my scallops were too salty for me to finish.

the SHRIMP was SUPERB. i could have eaten another pound! INCREDIBLE!
