Bbq was dry, no seasoning or flavor, and the “burnt ends” are just a ribeye they trying to pass off as brisket.

Rocco's didn't disappoint!! From the bourbon bbq sauce that was yummy enough to put on everything. The ribs I could eat every day. I suggest getting the combos so you can try all the meats before you just order one. To the desserts that taste homemade, the drinks were great!! The steak was tender and flavorful. Again, Roccos was great, and we can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff who were warm and welcoming. If you looking for bbq in Virginia go see Rocco...

The chili is the bomb! It could use a few more beans though.

Great service and pretty good food. I had smoked chicken, which was pretty good. The dark meat was very good, but the white was dry. I also had corn on the cob, which tasted very fresh.

Terrible. My husband and I walked in around 4:30pm on a Saturday. The hostess then sat us in the very back of the restaurant even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We sat for about 20 or so minutes before anyone helped us. During our wait, several of the waitstaff were at the bar and looked over at us a few times. I wanted to walk out, but my husband said he would go get someone. He found someone and asked if we could take our order and then our food came out in like 5 minutes. So I don’t understand why we were looked over. They were not busy at this time. Even worse the service, the food was awful. The mashed potatoes and coleslaw tasted like they had been made days prior, and the chicken and brisket were even worse. I don’t understand why this place had such high reviews. Poor service, horrible food. Go anywhere else!

Great place to eat. It was wonderful to hug the BEAR on the way in I’ll post a picture. I think it’s wonderful place to visit and we will visit again now that I remember where it is.

The Combo #3 order was huge; could not finish it. At $24.99, definitely got money’s worth. The ribs were tender as was the brisket; not so much for the pulled pork. Happy to say that the potato salad and beans sides were a step above the norm. Would have enjoyed having a couple of sauces on the table.

$27 Ribeye was tough an tasteless...potatoes cold, brisket dry, service poor. Server did ask the perfunctory: "is everything ok??" But it was obvious from this person's demeanor that they did not give a fiddlers fart.

Carnivores delight. This place has a wonderful tasting barbecue. I had the Rocco combo number 1 , Beef brisket ,pulled pork , and 1/4 smoked chicken. Came with 2 sides . It was awsome nearly put me in a food coma :) . My wife had blacken salmon with 2 sides cooked to perfection very tasty

OMG!!! I never give a restaurant a one-star review, but the only reason they are getting one is because I can't give zero. I have had fantastic BBQ all over the U.S. and what we were served here was something I would not give to my dog. Cold, thin, dried out & tasteless ribs. The cold beans were right out of a can and the slaw was nothing more than eating shredded cabbage. My husband's pulled pork (also cold) was about 3 ounces of GRAY, dried out and tasteless nasty. Both of these plates were about $20 each! Maybe they are serving old garbage so they don't waste food off-season? Maybe it was because we got here at 4:30pm and we got the lunch leftovers? I wish I had the answer. This place should be ashamed of itself.

We have eaten at Rocco’s three times and have not been disappointed yet. We are there last night (09/16/23) and It is one of our favorite places to eat when we visit Williamsburg. However, we ordered the #3 combo and it was really good. The cornbread was fresh and on point, the mash potatoes were creamy and tasty. Can I suggest not scorching the ribs? This time around they were burnt and dried out. They weren’t like that the last two times we visited. Can cabbage be on the menu for sides as well? We had the cabbage last year when we visited and it was the best cabbage other than my grandmothers. Other than that it was yummy and very filling. I cannot remember our waitresses name but she was a sweetheart and made sure we enjoyed our meal and kept our cups full. We will continue to eat there when we visit again. :)

We stopped here on a whim after we left Colonial Williamsburg. Our waitress, Megan, was awesome! We got pulled chicken and a chicken leg with some sides. Some of the best BBQ we have ever had. Will DEFINITELY be returning!
