We were in a hurry to eat so we could get to the movie on time. I think they have great salads. My husband had the Son of Baconator and helped me finish my salad. Made it to the movie in time.

Good food. I like to go on my lunch break or for breakfast. However, the past 5 times I’ve been there I didn’t get a napkin or straw!!! How can you give me a drink but not a straw and a messy meal with no napkins??

Service was awful. They were not even busy but still messed up so many things that we gave asking them to fix it. Don’t bother with this location. Chick-fil-A and Panera are close by. You will be better off with them.

I was fed up with the Wendy’s on Richmond Road, so we decided to try the one on Monticello Road—and let me tell you, this location is a game-changer! The team here is amazing: super friendly, attentive, and they actually make your order exactly the way you want it.
Unlike other places, where you might have to deal with mistakes or attitudes, this Wendy’s gets it right every time. Their sandwiches are always fresh, and they take care of the little details, like leaving off mayonnaise or ketchup if you request it. That kind of attention really makes a difference.
One time, I had an issue with the mobile app. I had money loaded in it but couldn’t pay because the app wasn’t working. The staff went above and beyond trying to troubleshoot it, and when nothing worked, they didn’t even charge me! That level of customer service is rare these days.
If you’re looking for a Wendy’s that delivers on quality, friendliness, and fresh food, Monticello Road is the one to go to. Highly recommended !
Ordered a Sweet tea. They gave me a tea out of the machine instead of real tea. Was told they didn't have any ice. Went inside to fix the mistake for the drink and saw somebody getting ice out of the machine. Spoke to the manager. The problem was the employees can't walk around the counter to get ice. Instead of telling me I could come in and get ice they chose to just tell me they don't have any. Lying to your customers is bad form. Seems like there would have been a better solution. Didn't even get an apology from the manager just a hand gesture and a chuckle with something that sounded like "they cant" that I took to mean they can't walk around the counter to get the ice One of his employees did apologize to me for the mistake about the drink though. Maybe that guy should be the manager instead.
The food wasnt great either. Fries were nit crispy. Seemed old and the tomato on the sandwich was just gross

Stopped by at 11pm and they had no ice for their sodas, and didn’t give me utensils. Also - terribly rude in the drive through. I get that it’s 11pm, but I just finished a 14 hour day as well and really could have used a nice quick meal instead of cold fries, no napkins and a short attitude from the staff.

Krabby patty meal wasnt worth it. Extra small frostie. No box, just mixed with the other order. Could have just ordered the regular meal and asked for sauce on the side 🙄.

I have been to different Wendy’s locations all around Hampton Roads and I have to say this location hands-down is the best I have ever been to. The manager of this location should be promoted to some kind of trainer and go to the other Wendy’s locations and teach them how it should be done. He is literally the best.
