Small, quaint tasting room up a small flight of stairs. There are some tables there and outside seating as well. The wine was good and prices were reasonable.

This winery tasting room is excellent! They have a decent selection of local wines and Italian wines. They have several flights to choose from at different price points. They also have a spacious room and it’s nice to browse the wine bottles. The people running the bar were very friendly and we would have totally returned if they weren’t closed at 6pm on Sunday!

I’ve been here and to the winery itself multiple times and have always had great experiences until this last time. My sister, friend , and I visited last Saturday and were off put by one of the female employees. She told the male employee not to give us a wine glass with our flights in front of us, which confused us being that I had just been to the winery a few weeks ago and was taught why you get a glass with a flight. We sat there and noticed other people receiving glasses with their flights, so my sister went up to the counter and asked for glasses. The first response from the female employee was “you can’t keep them”… we didn’t plan on it. We simply wanted to enjoy our wine properly. She explained that you have to ask for a glass in order to receive one. Before leaving we asked the male employee about that rule and he explained he had just learned about it right then. We enjoy coming here and to the winery. I hope this input can help with training your employees on how to treat every customer no matter who they are.
The wine was surprisingly good. We enjoyed our tasting flight. The hostess barely acknowledged that we were there (and we were the ONLY customers at that time), didn't explain the wines we were tasting, and wasn't particularly friendly. It's unfortunate because a good and knoweth l knowledgeable hostess would have made it a lot more fun and interesting.

Nice atmosphere, music, and the wine is good! Not so friendly service however....zero smiles or enthusiasm. I am beginning to wonder what happened to hospitality???
Minimal interaction with staff. Not a full tasting experience. Coupon not honored at the location. No real energy in the atmosphere and wines were mediocre in my opinion.

I came back for homecoming and tried to sample this place. The bartenders refused to serve me, I’m very disappointed in this experience.EDIT: came back with a friend to give this place another chance and my friend was perceived as talking too loudly and they told us to be quiet. Williamsburg winery hates fun!

Nice little room, not too crazy. Wines are middling at best, a bit expensive for the quality, but still a nice little place.

Since discovering Williamsburg Winery upon my arrival in the area last year, both locations have become a favorite of mine. The delightful wines and warm hospitality always make for memorable experiences. However, the decor could use a refresh to match the quality of the offerings, and the recent departure of familiar faces has slightly diminished the sense of community. Additionally, the practice of selling high end wine out of a box seems somewhat incongruous for a winery of this caliber. Despite these minor drawbacks, the charm Williamsburg Winery continues to captivate me, and with some attention to detail, it has the potential to become an even more exceptional destination for wine enthusiasts.

It was all a bit odd. I guess 230 on a Friday isn't normal? But they said they don't push tables together, so we grabbed the high top, but then they don't serve glass from the high top. Lots of rules to drink wine, that were commucated without polish. I shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience when I'm giving you money.
